"Tristan, you may release your hold on me, it's not like I'm being taken away." Tyra broke the silence in the car after Tristan hugged her for about 5 minutes.
"I'm sorry babe." Tristan apologized and broke the hug.
"You're being over protective, babe." She told him lovingly.
"Because I'm your husband and I vowed to protect you until my last breath." He said to her and planted a kiss on her forehead.
"Mom, dad,are we at home yet?" Young Eve sleepily asked her parents. She woke up due to the noise in the car.
"Not yet baby." Tyra replied her.
"When are we gonna be home? I'm tired!" She whined
"Very soon." Tyra mummured beneath her breath and Tristan placed his hand on her shoulder after seeing her facial expression. She looked at him and he gave her the look that means 'everything is gonna be alright'.
"Mom, what was that?" Eve asked her mom, trying to clarify what she said which brought Tyra's attention back to her.
"I said we're almost home." She lied.
"But why isn't the car moving?" She asked innocently.
"Your dad just stopped the car because he was held up in traffic." She lied again. She really don't want Eve to know about what was going on.
"Okay." Eve said and fell back asleep.
"Why did you have to lie to her?" Tristan asked with an irritated look.
"Do you want her to know about all this? Do you want her to see us as bad people?" She asked him calmly.
"No, I don't want her to get dragged into this mess." He replied her.
"Then we just have to do this. This is our only option." She spoke abruptly.
"So you wanna keep lying to her, huh? Babe, you know she's gonna find out about everything soon enough." He told her.
"Just trust me on this, babe." She assured him and kissed him.
"I love you." He purred after he had broken the kiss and moved a strand of her hair to the back of her ear.
"Come on, enough with this. Let's get going!" She said and chuckled.
"To where exactly?" He asked.
"To a hotel or something." She suggested.
"Okay, milady." He cooed.
"Let's get going!" He announced and drove off.

Meanwhile,
"Hello boss." An unknown person said, he was on a call.
"What is it, Kim? This better be good news." Someone replied on the other end of the phone.
"Yes it is, boss Dylan. I've been trailing Tristan for a while now...." Kim said and placed his hand on the steering wheel. He was in a car.
"And...." Dylan said, eager to know more.
"....and he's just leaving the mall with his wife and daughter." Kim continued.
"Good. Keep following him and update me if you have any new leads." He ordered him and hunged up.
Kim started his car and followed Tristan all the way to Twilight hotel. He went over to the parking lot and found Tristan's car there. He parked his car and went into the hotel. Lucky him! He found the very people he was looking for in the reception office. He went back outside so as not to be seen by Tristan. After he was sure that Tristan and his family has gone to their room and has left the reception office, he went in and over to the receptionist.
"Hi." He greeted the lady in a husky voice.
"Hi there Mr. Welcome to Twilight hotel where our top priority is giving you the needed attention to make your life more comfortable here." She said in a very polite way.
"What is your name and what brings you here?" She asked
"Um...." He hesitated. "My name is Gary Williams and I came here to see someone." He continued.
"And who's that?" She asked.
"Um...did any man come in here with a lady and a little girl?" He paused and waited for her response but due to the silence he received from her, he was forced to describe further.
"He's six feet tall, has a caramel colored skin, has hair that falls, he's name is Tristan.... Tristan Pierce." He continued.
"Yeah. He's the person I just finished attending to. If you don't mind me asking but .... Who are you to him or what do you want from him? You know, our customers privacy is also our concern." She said politely.
"I'm his close friend. He said he'll give me a call when he gets here but he didn't so I came here to check on him. I guess he forgot again." He lied.
"Okay. Room 68, on the third floor. That's his room." Finally, he got what he was looking for. He happily went over to the elevator and waited for it to open knowing that he is going to be paid handsomely once Dylan gets to know about this. He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he didn't know when the elevator opened. Lucky for him, he got in just when the elevator was about to close. He breath out a sigh of relief and since he was the only one in the elevator, he took his phone and called his boss Dylan.
"Hello boss Dylan." He called.
"What else, Kim?" Dylan asked him in an unconcerned tone.
"I have some update on Tristan, boss." He started.
"This better be good news!" His tone began to become impatient.
"I found out where Tristan is based now. He and his family are staying at an hotel. Twilight hotel to be specific." He explained.
"So the pest wanna escape from me." Dylan said to no one in particular and gave an evil chuckle.
"I will be right there!" He concluded and hunged up. Coincidentally, the elevator stopped and opened in the third floor. Suddenly, he remembered that he left his pistol in his car.
"Darn it!" He hissed and went back down to the first floor. He ran to the parking lot and went over to the car and unlocked it. He entered and searched everywhere until he finally found it. He grabbed it and thrusted it into the back of his pant. He got out of the car and just when he was about to lock the car, he sighted a blue car approaching him. He locked his car and went over to the blue car and surprisingly, it stopped!
"Boss Dylan." He said after he stood beside the car. The side window was rolled down.
"Kim, get ready, I'm ending this tonight." Dylan said in his deep but serious tone, not looking at Kim.
"Boss, but you gave them more time to pay up." He was forced to ask this question because if Dylan was this heartless, his life is at stake and any little mistake from him and he's gonna be a dead man.
"I ain't like that, Kim." Dylan said in a low tone. He suddenly brought out a gun and pointed directly to Kim. He was taken aback. He didn't know what to do. Is his life gonna end like this?
"They have owed me for too long. I've ran out of patience and this time, I am not allowing them go scot-free." His voice became angrier.
"I'm sorry boss, I'm sorry for asking that stupid question. I'm so stupid. Please don't kill me!" Kim pleaded.
"Don't worry." His voice became calmer. He placed the gun beside him on the seat.
"I won't kill you just yet. You've been a great help to me. Back up will soon arrive." With this, the side window was rolled back up and Dylan parked his car in a parking stand. He took his gun, thrusted it into the back of his pant and came out of the car. He went over to Kim who stood transfixed at that exact spot that whole time.
"Come on Kim, let's get going." He said to kim and walked towards the hotel.
"Ye-e-ess, yes, bo-oo-ss, Dylan." Kim stammered and went over to him. The bother entered into the hotel and the only thing Dylan thought of doing to Tristan was kicking his butt.
