"I'll be taking this for now."
Saying so, I began attaching it to my missing leg. Damn it, out of all things missing a limb had never been a part of the plan.
Once I was done, I slowly stood up, making sure to keep my balance.
It was a little long considering our height difference, but all in all, it was pretty good considering I wouldn't need it once I got out of the Wastes.
"Now then." I took out the blade and brought my attention back to Tess and Aria.
"It's time to honor our agreement." I looked at Tess. "Remember the commission you gave me when we first met in that room."
Tess eyes slowly widened in realization.
"If I have to choose to save a life between yours and hers, I choose hers. Remember?"
