Chapter 11 - into the unknown

:

Ivelle slowly opened her eyes, groggily taking in her surroundings. She was on her sister's bed, her head resting on her sister's pillow. She must have dozed off beside her. As she sat up, she noticed her sister already awake, staring blankly at the wall. Her sister's expression was a mix of sadness and shock.

"Hey, baby," Ivelle's sister said softly, touching Ivelle's arm. "We'll get through this together."

Ivelle turned to her sister, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions. "Sis, I have to tell you something," she said, her voice trembling.

Her sister looked at her concerned. "What is it?"

Ivelle took a deep breath before explaining how she met the mysterious man, the contract, and the $25 million. She revealed how she used the money to pay off debts and arrange their parents' funeral.

Her sister listened intently, her expression changing from confusion to shock. "What's going on? Why did you do that?" she asked, her voice laced with worry.

Ivelle's eyes welled up with tears. "I didn't know what else to do. I wanted to protect us, but now I'm scared. What if this man comes after us?"

Her sister pulled Ivelle into a hug. "We'll face it together. We always do."Here is the revised scene:

In an office setting, a boss sat behind a large desk, facing away from the room while a bodyguard stood facing the back of the chair, his eyes fixed on the ceiling-to-floor window. The boss asked, "How is she? And when are they moving?"

The bodyguard, who had been speaking to Ivelle earlier, reported, "They're moving to the mansion next week. Her parents' funeral will be later this week."

The boss inquired, "Has everything been made preparation for her stay?"

The bodyguard replied, "Yes, everything has been taken care of."

The boss pressed on, "And what about her sister?"

The bodyguard hesitated before responding, "She will be able to choose wherever she wants her sister stay . We will see if that works along with our plan."

The boss nodded, his expression unreadable. "And Ivelle? Has she signed the marriage certificate?"

The bodyguard replied, "Yes, sir. She signed it yesterday."

The boss's smirk grew wider. "Excellent. Make sure everything is in place for their arrival."

The bodyguard nodded, his expression stoic. "Yes, sir. I'll oversee the preparations personally."
