Sam- Main protagonist of the story and narrator of the story.
Keisha- Sam's only sister. She is a 15 year old with a drug addiction.
Diana- Sam and Keisha's mother. She is married to Gabriel, a father of Kevin, Cassie and Anna.
Gabriel- Kevin, Cassie and Anna's father. His wife ran away from him after turning out to be abusive. He hides dark secrets and is a pervert.
Kevin- Sam's step brother, who is in love with Sam. He reveals himself as bisexual. He is Cassie and Anna's brother. He is also highly intelligent.
Cassie- Kevin and Anna's sister, and Gabriel's middle born daughter. She is a proud lesbian, and is involved in a secret relationship with Mike.
Anna- Anna is the youngest daughter of the family, she is sweet and cheerful.
Mark- Sam's on and off boyfriend. He is Sam's best friend since primary school. He is also dating Jordan.
Carl- The high school jock who is in love with Sam. He is Teressa's boyfriend. He is closeted but soon he's sexuality is exposed slowly. He suffers from drug addiction and becomes close friends with Keisha who they eventually become lovers.
Jordan- Sam's crazy extrovert friend. He is gay, a drag queen. He is dating Mark but their relationship is complicated, he is also dating Justin on and off.
Teressa- Carl's control freak girlfriend. She is the queen bee of the high school. The captain of the cheerleading team. ⚠️ SPOILER ALERT ⚠️she has a secret that brings her and Cassie together which further complicates their friendship.
Justin- Teressa's best friend. He is also Teressa's slave. He is pansexual and is in love with Jordan.
Sarah- Sam's friend.
Alice- Sam's gothic friend
Blue- Sam's cheerful friend.
Herald- He is the head of servants at the mansion, he is also Sam's life advisor.
Kane- Gabriel's private driver.
William and Mary- The Gardners
Zara- The maid that is always staring at Kevin
Danny- Sam and Keisha's father who passed away due to an accident. Diana's ex husband.
Angela- Gabriel's ex-wife who seeks to make Gabriel's life a living hell by exposing his secrets one by one.
Tom- Angela's twin brother who does her dirty work. He develops feelings for Sam.
