Chapter 10 - First draw: a demon girl from demon slayer

In the woods above the mountain where the heads of the former Hokage were carved, the shadow of a tree suddenly began to take on strange shapes.

After the shadow of the tree moved to the right and left for a while, the shadow widened and spat out a small boy.

Yuta stepped out of the shadow and raised one hand to block the sunlight falling on him. Ever since the day he became a curse he had been bothered by sunlight, as if he was allergic to it, it even appeared in light sources other than sunlight, but it was always strongest when he was in contact with sunlight.

Yuta stopped bothering about it and started to check his surroundings with his eyes. After all, he had no other way of controlling his surroundings.

After looking around for a while, he made sure as much as possible that there was no one else around and decided to use his long-awaited summoning draws first.

Thinking that it would be more proper to start with the bronze level, Yuta used one of the bronze drawing rights.

After Yuta used his draw, nothing happened and some information came into his brain. After Yuta digested the information, a system screen appeared.

[ Are you really sure you want to use your bronze level summon draw right? ]

[ Yes ] [ No ]

Yuta hesitated as he looked at the system screen. Because after each draw, he would find himself in an arena where he would fight the creature that came out of the draw. Depending on the outcome of this battle, the creature from the draw would either obey his words completely or not. Either way, he could summon this creature into battle at any time, but the creatures he could not defeat will have free will to help him or not.

For example, if Yuta takes Sukuna out of the draw, they will both find themselves in an indestructible arena. If Yuta succeeds in defeating Sukuna, Sukuna will become a summoned beast that obeys him in everything. If Yuta loses the battle, when he releases Sukuna from the ten-shadow technique, Sukuna will have free will for a while to do whatever he wants. Of course, since Sukuna's life depends on Yuta, he probably won't kill him, but he might try to take over Yuta's body.

Fortunately, the system helps Yuta in two important things.

The first important thing was that one vs one ended when one side was mortally wounded, and after the battle was over, both sides would emerge uninjured.

The second important thing is that no matter how powerful the summoned monster is, it will lie unconscious inside the ten-shadow technique unless Yuta decides to remove it from the ten-shadow technique.

After hesitating for a while, Yuta decided that the thing that would come out of the Bronze level, the lowest level draw right, would be at a power level that he could easily surpass in the future, even if it was stronger than him.

If he could not defeat this cursed beast, he would wait until he was strong enough to defeat it in the future, then he would take it out of the ten shadow techniques and kill it.

In addition, the ten-shadow technique could be used outside of the lottery to make contracts with ninja monsters. Yuta was sure he could use the same thing for future curses that he had failed to defeat in the past.

As Tsunade began to worry that she couldn't find Yuta, Yuta closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and clicked "yes" on the system screen.

Yuta's shadow technique activated against his will and swallowed him. In the next moment, Yuta found himself in an area surrounded by a wall of darkness. The area was strangely bright, with nothing but rocks beneath his feet.

As Yuta tried to figure out what was going on, he was confronted by a system screen that told him that the battle would begin in three seconds. No matter how much Yuta looked around, he couldn't see anything.

"Hey hey, isn't it a bit much for a Bronze-level curse to be invisible?"

Yuta made a few inaudible protests and then watched as the countdown ended and as the number reached zero, a humanoid figure appeared on the other side of the field. Apparently, the reason he couldn't see it was not because it was invisible but because it hadn't arrived yet.

Yuta looked carefully and saw that the person in front of him was more than just a humanoid figure. She was no different from a little girl.

The girl slowly opened her eyes and looked around, but she seemed unable to see anything. When Yuta saw her open her hands and point them at him, he raised his fists and shielded them in front of him, and immediately Yuta's fists began to burn red fire. This was nothing but Yuta's special cursed energy. But apparently, the girl could not see her surroundings and was trying to hold on to something around her.

The girl must have been frightened because after a while she started to cry, looking around for something to hold on to.

Yuta started to approach the girl, wondering if she was called by an ordinary person because the level of drawing was so low. After Yuta took a few steps forward, some system screens appeared where he had just been, unfortunately, Yuta was only looking towards the girl and couldn't see the system screens.

[ Draw result: Low level demon ]
