Chapter 14 - XIV.

"Bastard…"

Logan breathed heavily, claws out as he walked toward the entrance to Selene's estate. He'd managed to track Laura back here. If Victor had come here then it could be dangerous for Selene.

He's grown fond of her over the years, and he wouldn't let Victor torment her again.

"This is the place? Nice ass house the fuck is this shit?" Gambit said, shuffling his deck of cards as he walked alongside Logan. He had a debt to repay to The Sabertooth, he'd kill the one who murdered his girl…

Selene momentarily felt her cheeks flush at her mate's words, and even more so at his actions of revealing her wanton lust to everyone in the building. As Victor slammed her against the wall and pounded deep into her, she gripped him tight and let the waves of desire wash over her. She got louder just as he wanted. "Fuck, you're so good, my love. Fill me. Please fill me. I need it. It's been far too long." She begged with each of his strong thrusts.

However, something was dulling her enjoyment, severely. Her senses and powers had grown exponentially, and rivaled that of Victor's. She sensed the intruders, already knowing exactly who they were. How could she ever forget the scent of her former lover? Any other day, she would have jumped to quell the threat. But she was too wrapped up in the moment to bother. Thankfully, she had a remedy for that.

Go welcome our guests.

The telepathic order went to all of her turned, obedient progeny. Usually she'd be instantly rewarded with eager responses of yes my queen anything for you my queen, but tonight was different. They weren't paying attention to her. Well they were, with their cocks in their hands, so consumed by lust they couldn't focus on anything else.

"Fuuuck." She hissed, half from pleasure and half from annoyance. Heads would roll if her breeding was interrupted.

Birdy. Sawyer. Go now. You can fantasize later.

She repeated, far more pointedly. At least these two should be obedient. And to her relief, they were.

"You smell like sweat and desperation." Birdy rolled her eyes at Sawyer as they joined each other atop the balcony, staring at their guests below. She truly couldn't judge, as even her hand had found its way to her clit, listening like a pervert.

Sawyer snorted, fangs glinting and eyes narrowed. This has been the worst night imaginable. Not only was he a cuck, but now he's a guard dog as well.

"Halt. What is your business here?" He shouted down to the two men. "You trespass on the property of Selene Gallio, First of her Name, Queen of the Night, Mother of Blood."

Birdy laughed and laughed hard. "You're such a fucking simp, dude."

Victor pounded Selene against the wall, her needy moaning music to his ears. It wasn't just that he wanted to do the things she said, he needed to. To finally get some comfort and stop waking up in the middle of the night imagining his two dead sons calling out to him.

"Take it all, I want this entire fucking estate to hear how much you love being bred," Victor growled, cumming as he hilted his cock deep into Selene's cunt, a deep groan of satisfaction escaping his lips.

After he was done he pulled out of her, putting her down and turning her around, immediately slamming back into her. He would make sure she was thoroughly satisfied, it was the least he could do for the mother of his future kids.

Birdy was pissed. She hadn't seen Victor in almost two years, and the first time they met each other again she was sent away to babysit.

Laura was cute, in a deadly kind of way, but she wanted to say hi to her old friend and partner.

"Fuck!" She yelled, staring at Logan in anger before launching herself at him, her superior vampiric speed making the jump instant.

"You better have a good reason for ruining- I mean, showing up here…"

Meanwhile, Gambit sized up Sawyer, a grin on his face. "Tell me, are you trying to stop me from killing that brute? I didn't think he had such loyal servants, so I guess I should give him props…"

His eyes glowed purple as his cards burst forward. "Right after I kill you!"

Sawyer dodged Gambit's charged cards with a smirk, moving faster than the human eye could track. His vampiric reflexes made the explosive projectiles seem like they were moving in slow motion. Reappearing behind Gambit in an instant, Sawyer leaned in close, his voice a low, mocking drawl. "Killing me, Cajun? You better learn to aim first." Gambit spun, throwing another handful of cards in a wide arc, but Sawyer was already gone again, materializing a few feet away.

He chuckled softly, his fangs glinting as he stalked closer, his eyes gleaming with predatory focus. "I don't serve anyone," Sawyer said, circling Gambit. "But if you're dumb enough to try taking me down, I'll be happy to teach you why that's a mistake." His grin widened as his fingers curled into fists, ready to strike.

Meanwhile, Birdy was tasked with Logan. Before her transformation the prospect would have daunted her. But now, she was fearless. With Victor and Selene on a fucked up honeymoon, she knew it would be easy for her to get pushed out of the equation. She actually enjoyed being Selene's pet. So if this is how she proved herself, then so be it. Birdy's patience snapped, her anger boiling over as she lunged at Wolverine with a snarl, her fangs bared and eyes wild. She moved faster than he could track, her vampiric speed making the distance between them disappear in an instant. "Don't think you can talk your way out of this!" she hissed, slamming into him with enough force to knock him back several feet.

Her hands gripped his jacket again, only this time she wasn't holding back. She slammed him against a nearby wall, the concrete cracking under the impact. It annoyed her how Logan grunted but didn't resist, his claws still sheathed. Did he not take her seriously? She raked her nails across his chest, tearing at his clothes, trying to provoke him. "Victor had so many chances to end you. He's got a fucked up loyalty to you that stops him every time. But guess what, I don't." Her fangs glistened as she leaned in close, ready to tear into him, the raw power of her vampiric nature threatening to take control.

Finish it now and finish it quickly.

It was getting increasingly hard to multitask. As she got filled over and over by Victor's potent cum, there was the nagging sensation that this night would end on less than a happy note, due to the issues outside. Oh well, a few sacrifices to ensure her womb would grow life would be worth it. Any loyalty to her flock she once had, it was put fully on the backburner. If you can't protect your queen and the clan you are better off dead.

Victor laid on the dining room table, his hands in Selene's hair as she sucked him off nearly three hours later. They'd christened every single surface of her beautiful estate, fucking in front of her coven as they pleased.

He didn't mind it, though the sounds of battle continuing was starting to piss him off. He hadn't wanted to ruin the mood, but he'd smelled Logan coming miles away. He had hoped it would be on a more friendly note than last time, but the man just wouldn't quit.

Sighing he pulled Selene off his dick, her eyes like a doe, innocent and out of it after pounding dozens of loads deep into her cunt.

"I think your pets are starting to lose steam Selene, they're connected to you right? Maybe they couldn't focus?" He said, pulling Selene one top of him, sliding back into her well fucked cunt.

"I love looking at you while you take my dick, that vicious predator turned into a cock- drunk slut, it only makes me want you more."

Victor moved faster, guiding Selene's hips to ride him as he continued to listen in on the fight as it slowed down. He smelled Birdy and… He wasn't sure what to do with that.

How did you apologize to someone you abused and raped into a fucked up mess? She had been his loyal little pet before, but he saw her as a friend now. Would she see him as the same?

He didn't know, but he had a different woman to worry about right now as he felt Selene's claws sink into his chest, as if she knew he was thinking about another woman…

Mistress, why doesn't this guy go down? Birdy growled, frustrated as she watched Logan stand back up. His clothes were torn to shreds, his claws extended as his wounds healed again. She knew one thing for sure, Victor was a true beast to always win against this monster.

"Weren't you saying my Cajun ass couldn't beat you? C'mon vampy where's that fire!" Gambit yelled, slamming his charged staff into Sawyer once more, sending the vampire flying into Birdy as the two hit the ground, their breathing heavy and exhausted.

"Logan, do you want to put on some pants? Isn't your daughter in there, fucking crazy this guy huh?"

Mistress… We have a slight issue… Birdy thought, standing up slowly, exhausted and looking out at the horizon. It was nearly sunup, and unless they moved the fight inside she and Sawyer would be ash.

Selene wrapped herself in a rich velvet robe, the silk lining cool against her skin as she strode towards the door. Her eyes flickered with satisfaction, her mind no longer distracted by the primal energy she had shared with Victor. The sounds of battle outside, however, still rang loud in her ears, grating on her focus. She couldn't have that. Not now. With a graceful but firm gesture, she beckoned for her servants. "Prepare me a decanter of the finest blood," she ordered, her tone clipped and cold.

She barely acknowledged their bows as they scurried to obey, her focus already shifting elsewhere. Her slender fingers curled around the heavy brass handle of the front door. With one swift motion, she flung it open, her sharp gaze scanning the chaos before her. The sight of bloodshed and destruction, the clash of claws and fangs, momentarily stirred something within her—a spark of irritation at the disruption of her plans. In her most commanding tone, she sent out a telepathic message that vibrated through the minds of her allies. Birdy. Sawyer. Inside. Now. Recover.

Her words were not a suggestion, they were a command, brooking no argument. The battle outside was insignificant to her plans, and the well-being of her colony came first. She couldn't afford to lose her most loyal warriors over such trivialities. Stepping out into the crisp dawn air, Selene's cold, predatory eyes locked onto Wolverine. Her lips twisted into a disdainful smirk as he stood there, covered in the filth of combat. The tension between them hung in the air like a drawn blade, sharp and dangerous, but she was far too focused on her own ambitions to entertain it for long.

Her voice cut through the noise, icy and detached. "What is it you desire, Wolverine?" she demanded, her tone full of quiet menace. "Do you seek Laura? Me? Or revenge on Victor?" Selene crossed her arms, the breeze barely touching her pale skin as her eyes burned into his. "Only one of those things will happen tonight, X-23," she sneered, using Laura's designation with pointed emphasis. "I don't need any more headaches. I'm busy building something far greater than you could ever comprehend. Your distractions are becoming tiresome." Her lips curled, her voice dripping with contempt. She took a long sip from her goblet after an unnamed slave brought it to her sheepishly. "Victor might have a soft spot for the girl, but she's inconsequential to me. If that's the ransom, so be it. I care not for your little familial squabbles." She took a step closer, her expression hardening.

"But don't mistake my tolerance for mercy. You're a coward, Wolverine. You know damn well my people cannot remain outside when the sun rises. You chose to provoke this now, hoping to exploit our weakness." Selene's eyes narrowed, her voice lowering to a dangerous whisper. "Take your whelp, leave this place, and be done with it. My colony needs rest, and I have no patience left for you or your melodrama." She waved her hand dismissively, her gaze never leaving his. "I don't want to see you again, regardless of what passed between us. Whatever loyalty, whatever connection you think might exist… it's gone. I have no need for ghosts of the past."

Victor was dressed and in the room Laura had been in, she eyed him warily, sniffing the air and making a disgusted face as he just chuckled, staring outside at Logan and the magic runt.

"She's not going to let me stay…" Laura said softly, standing behind him and resting her head against Victor's back, her hands trembling at the mere thought of being separated from Victor.

She didn't care how she was created, or who her father was supposed to be. Victor had taught her everything she knew, he'd been there for her when she first killed, when she said her first words, when she started calling him dad.

She didn't care about Logan, Selene, Birdy or even the bald man who had frequented her mind over the years. She just wanted to stay with Logan.

Victor chuckled, turning around and picking her up, letting her sit on his shoulders.

"Selene's pets might not be able to fight in the sun, but I don't have that problem… Her word is law around here, if she doesn't let you stay I'll go with you… But I'll be damned if I let them take you. You're not going anywhere kid."

Victor smashed through the window, growling loudly and slamming into the ground a few feet from Logan and Gambit.

"Now darling… Laura's like your stepdaughter. I can't just let her go like that… I say we have a match for her. I fight these two and if they win, they can take her…"

His eyes glowed yellow, looking at his prey as he unsheathed his long sharp claws.

Logan had his bones infused with adamantium, but Victor had them infused with a mix of adamantium and vibranium. Even before he had been superior, but now he was a walking black panther with sharper claws and stronger senses.

"That's how vampires do things, no? Whoever's stronger decides…" Victor crouched low. Showing Selene respect by allowing her to say yes or no.

But god he hoped she said yes.

Selene stood at the edge of the porch, her golden eyes narrowing as she watched Victor crash through the window and challenge Logan and Gambit. At first, anger surged through her—Victor was defying her authority, again. How dare he dictate terms on her land. But as she took a moment to compose herself, a smirk curled on her lips.

Victor was learning.

For all his brutish defiance, he was finally starting to grasp the vampire way, and for that, Selene was both impressed and… intrigued. She couldn't help but imagine the raw power he would possess if turned—a predator with centuries of skill sharpened by immortality, his claws gleaming with adamantium , a perfect blend of nature and technology. The idea of him becoming one of her kind was a tantalizing thought, but she shoved it aside. Not yet, she reminded herself. There were still things to be proven.

Still, she knew what had to happen. Her grip on power was constantly tested by younger, hungrier vampires, and while a part of her wanted Victor to lose for his audacity, another part needed him to win—needed to show that strength would always prevail under her rule.

She raised a hand, summoning one of her servants with a swift gesture. "Bring me a chair," she ordered, her voice smooth but firm. She would watch this spectacle from her throne, as it should be.

Her servants obeyed swiftly, and soon Selene was seated, her dark gown flowing around her as she reclined on the porch, the shadow of the roof protecting her from the sun's harsh rays. The other vampires gathered beneath the roof, watching from the safety of the shade, their glowing eyes filled with anticipation.

Selene's smirk deepened as she stood and raised her voice, commanding the attention of all. "Trial by combat, then," she declared, her tone ringing with authority. Her gaze settled on Victor. "But you will pay for the broken window." Her eyes glimmered, hinting at her amusement.

She leaned back, folding her arms, her smirk never leaving her lips. She did love him so. Laura's attachment to Victor didn't matter to her—she had no love for the girl—but this was the game they played. Power, loyalty, survival. If Victor wanted to keep Laura, he'd have to earn it.

As Victor crouched low, showing her that moment of respect by awaiting her decision, Selene's eyes flickered with approval. "I say yes," she answered, her voice dripping with anticipation. "But don't disappoint me, Victor. My patience is thin."

And with that, she sat back into her chair, her eyes gleaming as she watched the combat unfold, fully aware that no matter who won, the display of power would only serve to strengthen her position.

"Begin."

Victor easily dodged Gambit's card as soon as Selene said begin. Laughing loudly as he held Laura tightly against his shoulders.

"Been a while since I've had Cajun," Victor mocked, flashing to the side and burning his fist into Logan's stomach, wrapping his claws around his spine.

"I showed you mercy at the cabin, I'm not the same anymore you little runt," Victor said, throwing Logan into Gambit and shaking off the blood. "I'm more."

Many of the vampires had heard Birdy and Sawyer fight the two mutants. Their two stronger siblings had fought, yet they'd lost.

Victor loved the scent of confusion, death always followed that blatant confusion people felt.

He was dominating. It was barely a challenge fighting the two younger mutants. Remy may have been known as an omega level mutant once, but with him limiting himself to cards and his staff, he had no chance against Victor.

"Damn it…" Gambit said, twirling his staff around as he jumped up. "Why did you kill Rogue!" He screamed, charging head first like an angry animal. It was proven to be a poor decision when Victor simply kicked forward, snapping the staff and using the momentum to turn and deliver another kick into the mutant's stomach, sending him flying into the estate gates.

"That's at least four broken ribs… Your turn Logan?" Victor asked, watching with predatory eyes, his former prey seemed so weak, so vulnerable. Having kids really did that to you.

Logan hadn't even unsheathed his claws yet, just staring at Laura, hesitant glances sent toward Victor, the vampires, Laura, and Selene.

"Selene!" Logan yelled, turning away from Victor and unsheathing his claws. "This is what you want huh?! To be abused again and again by a monster who could never care! Fine!"

Logan charged toward Selene, rushing her like an angry dog as Victor squinted his eyes.

Logan jumped up, claws extended toward the vampire queen before five long, razor-sharp, claws sliced through his body, an arm flying to the side, his bottom half flopping down in front of Selene, and two halves of his torso falling on either side.

Even this wasn't enough to kill the Wolverine, his flesh knitting together as best as it could, his adamantium bones almost magnetically pulling toward each other as it tried to heal him.

Victor grabbed Logan's head, unconscious yet still alive somehow. "Is that enough Selene? Or should I really try now?" Victor asked, standing tall in front of his future wife, grinning down at her as his body was bathed in Logan's blood, the little girl sitting on his shoulders smiling proudly at the win.

Victor hadn't fought to kill, he had fought to set an example, both to Logan and to the vampires. Two birds with one beast.

Selene's gaze never wavered, even as Logan's mutilated form landed in front of her. Her eyes flickered with a strange mix of contempt and curiosity, her mind racing behind an impassive mask. Victor's brutality wasn't shocking—she had expected it—but the sheer arrogance made her roll her eyes.

She stepped forward, her boots silent on the blood-soaked ground, eyes locked on Victor. The smell of Logan's blood was thick in the air, mingling with the tension that surrounded them. A part of her felt a deep, instinctual satisfaction at seeing Logan torn apart—he had underestimated her once, and this was his reward. But something darker lingered beneath, a conflict Victor didn't see.

"Is that what you think I want, Logan?" she asked softly, her voice slicing through the chaos like a blade. She looked down at his twitching form, claws retracting and skin knitting together. "You still don't understand. What I want… isn't about you."

Her attention shifted to Victor, her future husband. His pride, his dominance, and the way he held Laura like a trophy were all clear signals. He had done this for her, for their cause, for the vampires. But Selene wasn't easily impressed. She was a queen, not a pet to be appeased by violence.

"Enough," she said, her voice cold, regal. "You've made your point, Victor. But remember this—" she stepped closer, her lips curling into a dangerous smile, pointing towards his dismembered foe, "—even kings are replaceable."

She glanced at Laura, the girl's innocent smile a stark contrast to the carnage around them. Selene's gaze softened for just a moment, but it was fleeting. "The girl stays. But…if Laura wishes, she may visit her true father whenever she wishes. Far from my property," she added, turning back to Victor.

She had to. She couldn't be seen as weak, that he called the shots. Selene wanted the feral child far far away. It was a liability. But her champion had won his match, and she was still a woman of her word. There had to be just a small enough punishment for Victor, to show he cannot undermine her like that in front of her clan again.

She turned away, her cloak billowing behind her as she began to walk. The vampires surrounding them parted like shadows in the night, their eyes on her, waiting for the next command.

Go to sleep. The sun is awake.

As she moved farther from the battle, her mind was already elsewhere. Logan's words echoed in her thoughts, and despite herself, she couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning. Something bigger was coming—and even Victor's strength might not be enough to stop it.

Victor shrugged, dropping Logan's dismembered body as he looked at the vampires now staring at him.

"What's wrong, you guys want some too?" He said with a growl, the pussies stepping back and shaking their heads. Of course they'd be terrified to fight him now, but he'd have to be ready for sneak attacks.

He wasn't safe here, neither was Laura, but he wouldn't leave again, not when he had finally gotten everything he wanted.

He yawned, feeling Laura's drowsiness as well. "Time for bed?" Victor asked.

"I'll take first watch." Laura said, looking at the vampires suspiciously as she rode his shoulders. He smirked, walking toward Selene's chambers after leaving his cub to explore.

This isn't so bad…
