Chapter 7 - VII.

'The hell is she thinking about so intensely?'Victor thought, noticing her nervousness had gone and sniffing the air. She pressed into him as he held her. It was almost cute, but he had an image to keep and if Birdy managed to even catch a glimpse of this he knew she'd tease him for weeks.

He leaned back into the seat, holding Selene tighter, enjoying the touch despite it being embarrassing. Then again, he was the strongest, why should he be embarrassed?

"Stop right here," Victor said as they reached Birdy's hotel, looking at the driver before slashing his throat. He probably could have lived if he hadn't been checking out Selene.

"My partner is… Kind of like you. Try and get along with her," Victor warned, subtly resting his claws near Selene's neck as they went up the hotel elevator, stopping at the top floor.

Victor stayed in the elevator as he shoved Selene out of it. "She already knows she's baby sitting you, just don't get her angry while I'm gone…" He finished, going back down the elevator and stealing the dead drivers car.

He wasn't entirely sure if he should be leaving her alone right after 'taming' her in a way. But, if anyone could handle Selene while he was gone it was Birdy.

Selene stumbled slightly as she was shoved out of the elevator, her lips curling into a sneer as she regained her balance. She glanced back at the closing doors, eyes flashing with rage before she composed herself. She agreed to being his pet, nobody else's.

She straightened her clothes, wiping the lingering sensation of his claws from her neck before turning toward the door of the hotel suite. The scent of another mutant—*his* partner—was thick in the air, and Selene's instincts sharpened. She'd heard of Birdy, the telepath with the unfortunate job of keeping Victor's more homicidal tendencies in check. It wouldn't be the first time she'd crossed paths with someone like her, but the thought still irritated her. She wasn't about to be babysat, especially not by a woman tied to him.

Selene pushed the door open with a deliberate slowness, stepping inside with calculated calm. The room was dimly lit, and Birdy sat casually in a chair, looking as if she had been expecting her.

"Birdy, I presume?" Selene's tone was cold, her gaze appraising. "I'd say it's a pleasure, but let's not waste time pretending either of us is thrilled about this arrangement."

She crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes as she took in the other woman. "I don't need a babysitter. And if you're smart, you'll stay out of my head. I don't take kindly to intrusions."

Birdy sat in the comfortable chair, remembering the orders Victor had given her just that morning.  She respected him, and was definitely loyal. She'd taken plenty of beatings when he'd been aggravated and had been the subject to truly intense physical abuse. Still, she had stayed with him.

She didn't flinch from Selene's words, though she eyed Selene with a mix of amusement and mild irritation. Her legs were crossed casually, and she took a long pause, just staring at Selene. The dim light highlighted the sharpness in her eyes, but there was something calm, almost resigned, in her demeanor.

"Trust me, sweetie," Birdy replied, her voice smooth but carrying a hint of steel, "I'm not looking to get in your head unless I have to. Besides, you and I both know it'd take more than a little telepathy to crack through someone like you." She leaned back, the chair creaking slightly under her weight. "Still… I've dealt with worse."

"The boss might want you around, but that doesn't mean I'm thrilled about it. My job is to make sure he doesn't lose control and rip the wrong person apart—again. You're just a... Ah, a pet. Think of this as pet sitting, nothing more."

Her eyes flicked up and down Selene, sizing her up, and she smirked slightly. "But I can handle any complications you cause." There was a knowing, almost mocking look in Birdy's eyes, as if she had already decided that this was just another day.

She sighed, relaxing as she stood up. "Nice to meet you Selene, but if you make my job harder, don't expect me to sit back and take it. You can handle Victor in your way, but I promise you won't be able to handle me."

Her expression hardened slightly, a warning just beneath the surface. "Just remember, I'm the only thing keeping him from tearing this whole damn place apart. So, if you want to stick around, stay an obedient toy. If he snaps, I won't bother stopping him."

Birdy leaned forward slightly, her voice lowering, her smile gone. "And trust me, you won't like it when he snaps."

Her smile returned quickly as she ruffled Selene's hair. "You are pretty cute though, guess the Boss has good taste." She said before walking into the next room, leaving Selene to take care of herself for a bit.

Selene followed Birdy into the next room, her expression icy as ever, but there was something sharper, more dangerous lurking beneath her calm facade. The dim light only seemed to harden the edges of her presence, her voice cutting through the air like a blade.

"Pet sitting? You think I'm some pet to be looked after?" Her lips curled into a sneer, eyes narrowing as she took slow, deliberate steps towards Birdy. "You're awfully smug for someone who barely understands the game they're in."

Selene's tone was venomous, each word a deliberate attack, but her composure remained unnervingly controlled. "You think you've dealt with the worst? That you've seen what Victor is capable of? Don't kid yourself. I don't need a telepath to tell me you're lying through your teeth. You know nothing." She leaned in, her presence as oppressive as the weight of the room around them.

"Sabretooth's brutality? It's more than just a temper tantrum you can smooth over. It's a nightmare, and I don't need you to remind me of that. I live in that reality." Her words softened at the end, not in kindness, but in the bitter admission that the monster they both dealt with was beyond control, beyond redemption.

Her gaze flickered for a moment, showing the depth of her loathing, not just for Birdy, but for the truth they both shared.

Birdy laughed bitterly, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up. "I was only 18 when we first met. I had all these dreams and hopes of being a hero… Look where it got me."

She lifted her shirt, showing off a few healing bruises and dozens of scars. "You don't know what it's like to deal with him and not being able to heal… And yes, you are a pet to be looked after, his exact words actually."

Birdy blew smoke right into Selene's face. If the woman wasn't going to respect her she had to show she wouldn't be bullied. Victor was hard enough, if she had to deal with two maniacs who only knew violence she'd need to step up.

Curious she looked over Selene's body, taking another long drag. "How'd it feel?" She asked, a slight edge to her voice as he face heated up. She hoped Selene wouldn't make her elaborate.

Selene met Birdy's gaze, the smoke curling around her face like a lingering specter. "You think I don't know what it's like to be trapped? To have your body bear the marks of battles fought—both inside and out?" She took a step closer, her voice low and steady. "I've lived in that cage, too, one made of fear and pain." Selene grew quiet thinking of her time at the Grail. She stared at her, unflinching, as the tension crackled in the air. "But you can either let it break you or use it to forge something stronger. So tell me, Birdy, are you going to let him define who you are? Or are you ready to take that pain and turn it into your power?" Selene's eyes flickered down to the scars, then back to Birdy's defiant expression. "You've survived this long. That says more about you than he ever could." At her question, the Vampire frowned, cocking her head. "Oh you haven't…ah. I assumed this was a harem of sorts. Your powers must definitely have some merit, some purpose I suppose. Good for you." she was catty, but her words weren't wholly untrue, her hackles weren't as raised. "It was…exhilarating. Nothing your human body could comprehend. So you will have to settle for listening to us mate through these thin walls every night." Selene broke into a wide grin. "I'm not a prude. I won't judge if you pleasure yourself to it."

Birdy blushed, the image of Victor bending Selene over for "mating" popping into her head. "I'm not a degenerate! I was just surprised a vampire would stoop so low and be dominated by a human. Weren't your race known for taking even the strongest beings and turning them into lowly sex slaves? Guess times have changed," She mocked, trying to keep her voice steady. "Unlike you I don't need to spread my legs to help Victor, but if you're proud of being his bitch then I guess that's good for you…" Birdy took another drag, still a little unsettled by Selene's blunt words. "You can sleep in Victor's room, I'm sure you'll be in there a lot. Your 'master's' scent will probably have you all riled up, waiting like a good kitty." She sauntered off to her own room, feeling a bit aroused still. "And don't get things twisted, if it came down to it Victor needs me way more than he needs a good fuck. I'm sure I could handle him quite well, don't get cocky just because you bend over whenever he needs to relax…"

The vampire burned with fury as Birdy's words sliced through her like a dagger. "You think you know me?" she hissed, her voice low and dangerous. "You don't have the faintest idea of what it means to be strong."

In a blur of movement, she lunged forward, pinning Birdy to the ground with a force that sent shockwaves through her frame. Selene's hands wrapped around Birdy's throat, her fingers tightening as rage coursed through her veins. "You dare to insult me, to belittle my bond with Victor? You're nothing but a pathetic little insect, trying to crawl into his favor!"

The weight of Birdy's struggles beneath her only fueled Selene's anger. "You think you can just walk away from your words? I won't let you mock me while you stand there, pretending to be something you're not!" The dim light of the room flickered in Selene's eyes as she leaned closer, her face inches from Birdy's, her breath a whisper of danger. "If you're so eager to speak of submission, perhaps I should show you what true power looks like."

She pressed down harder, feeling the heat of Birdy's skin beneath her fingers. "Know this: I am not a plaything to be tossed aside. You think Victor needs you? You're nothing but a distraction—a fleeting pleasure. I am bound to him in a way you will never understand."

Selene's resolve hardened. "Now, let's see how you feel when the tables are turned." She leaned in closer, eyes glinting with a predatory hunger, intent on teaching Birdy a lesson she wouldn't soon forget.

Birdy struggled, choking as she grabbed Selene's wrists. The vampire was too strong, and she couldn't even twist out from under her as she began putting real pressure on her throat.

Birdy went into her mind, forcefully calming her down before also blocking her sight and sense of touch. Reaching to the side she grabbed one of her guns that were strapped under a table, slamming it against Selene's head and sending the vampire off of her.

She breathed heavily, massaging her throat and blushing furiously. Despite Selene's anger, Birdy had gotten a glimpse of exactly what she and Victor had done together.

For a second she had felt his hands on her neck, choking her and abusing her little pussy without a single care in the world.

Keeping up the psychic attack Birdy blocked Selene's other senses, standing away from her with her gun pointed at her head as she dialed up Victor to complain.

"You little bitch!" she spat, her voice venomous as she struggled to regain her balance. The shame of it all twisted in her gut. Selene Gallio—The Blood Queen, an immortal, near-goddess—had been bested by a mere mortal child. She cursed Birdy's name under her breath, her lips curling into a snarl as her mind raced with thoughts of revenge.

"I'll tear you apart... limb from limb. I'll make you beg for mercy before I'm through!"

Her hands trembled, not from fear, but from the sheer humiliation of it all. She had allowed herself to be vulnerable, caught off guard, and for what? A petty squabble, a moment of weakness. She loathed herself for it.

Without another word, Selene stormed off, her vision still hazy from Birdy's psychic tampering, but her steps were unyielding. She slammed the door to Victor's bedroom behind her, locking it with a sharp flick of her wrist. This room—their room—was the only place she felt in control. The one place where no one could reach her.

She collapsed onto the bed, the scent of Victor still lingering in the air, wrapping herself in the safety of the silence. The walls felt like a fortress, a sanctuary against her embarrassment and rage. No one was allowed in. Not until Victor returned.

For an entire week, she remained there, her pride festering with every passing day. Birdy's attempts to check on her were ignored. Every knock at the door, every olive branch, met with cold silence. Selene refused to acknowledge her, refused to give her the satisfaction of a response.

Victor would come back. He had to. And when he did, things would be set right.

In the darkness of the room, her eyes glowed faintly as she whispered, "When I rise again,*

Birdy... you'll wish you were never born."

"Seems you two had fun…" Victor grunted as he walked onto the floor, Birdy waiting for him dressed in shorts and a crop top. He smelled the pure rage that seeped from his room, it had been festering for the entire time he'd been gone.

"Your vampire bitch is very dramatic. All I did was mess with her head a little when she tried to kill me." Birdy's tapped his chest. "She's been very lonely, you should probably handle that. I don't want to have to break her mind just to sleep in my bed."

Victor nodded, ignoring the small gesture of disrespect. Birdy knew her place, so she got away with a lot more than normal people did.

There was a new scent from Birdy though, a scent he'd grown very familiar with during his time with Selene.

Arousal.

Her subtle blush as she looked up at him, her blonde hair hiding most of it away from his eyes.

Birdy took a step back, walking with her ass bouncing with each step. It was like she was trying to tempt him. With a grin he looked on without shame as she went back to her room.

For now, he had a pet to take care of. She knew he was here, yet she didn't come out to greet him. The last week had been hell with his lust awakened, all he wanted at the moment was to be buried in his pet and taste her blood.

He bit at his wrists, raising it in front of him and waited. There was no way she'd be able to stay in that room when her favorite snack was dripping onto the floor…

Selene's eyes flicked open at the familiar scent of Victor's blood. Her body tensed, instincts flaring to life, fangs itching to extend. She hadn't seen him in a week—enough time for the anger to simmer, boiling under the surface of her usually cold demeanor. She stayed still for a moment, lying in the darkness of the room, listening. Birdy's voice had carried to her before; the smug tone still lingered like poison in her ears. That woman had overstepped. But Victor... oh, Victor. She knew his game. The smell of his blood, rich and intoxicating, began to cloud her thoughts, but she pushed it down, suppressing the hunger with all the willpower she had. He was testing her, trying to coax her out like she was some obedient little pet. Not this time. With a slow, deliberate movement, she rose from the bed, stepping lightly as shadows clung to her form. She cracked the door, voice dripping with venom. "Trying to lure me out like a starving animal, Victor? You should know better by now... I don't take kindly to being played with. And your cunt of an assistant is testing me." Her eyes glowed faintly in the dim light, and her fangs were just barely visible behind her lips as she stared down at the blood still trickling from his wrist. "Or did you think I'd forget how you left me? Like I was nothing." Her voice lowered, dangerous now. "Ah, a few drops of blood for a week of hell. Babysat . By a little girl, by a child, by a fucking whore who will try to spread her legs to curry favor." His vampire pressed his slit wrist against her mouth. You think she'd be ravenous after a week without food, but she only licked it with mild disinterest before pulling away. "The fact she's still breathing ruins my appetite. Fix this. "

Victor growled, smacking Selene sharply before shoving the bloodied wrist in her mouth. He smacked her again, then again before stopping and grabbing her hair to keep the blood going into her mouth.

"Don't forget your place pet," He spat, literally spitting in her face as he bared his fangs. "You do not give me orders, you don't make requests!"

He cut himself again on her fangs, his anger rising as he gripped her hair. "Birdy is my pet, a good servant that I have plenty of use for. She's one of the few weaklings I actually respect somewhat, do not underestimate her worth."

He snarled now, each word only making him more angry. All he'd wanted was to come home, recieve the glow, and fuck his pet until she couldn't walk straight, but Selene had ruined it.

"You haven't proven your worth, if you want her gone than prove yourself. As far as I've heard you were beaten like a weakling by that "child" if you want that problem fixed then do it yourself. Don't whine to me like some helpless whelp and expect me to fix your problems."

Selene's fangs sank deeper into his wrist, her body trembling with both rage and the sudden rush of his powerful blood. Her eyes blazed with fury as she fought against the iron grip he had on her hair, the humiliating sting of his slap still burning on her cheek. She locked eyes with him, feeling the heat of his spit on her face, but she didn't flinch.

She slowly released his wrist, her tongue running over her fangs, wiping the blood from her lips. "I don't need you to fix my problems, Creed," she hissed through clenched teeth. "But don't you dare compare me to that toy you call Birdy."

Her voice dripped venom, her body tense with the primal urge to lash out, but she restrained herself, barely. "You want me to prove my worth? Fine. But remember this—I'm not  her toy. Fuck that . I'm not here for her pleasure, and I sure as hell won't grovel for her approval."

Selene  leaned in, her lips brushing against his ear as she whispered, "You think a man with your senses could tell how wet the thought of you makes her. The thought of us. And she truly thinks that she could satisfy your carnal urges. What do you think of that?" The vampire knew she couldn't press the issue too far, but that brash nature pushed her to have no final say. "Anyways, lover. Did you enjoy your trip?"

"As much as I can enjoy missing my target… Turns out someone wanted the Maximoff bitch dead, and she's gone underground. I plan to head over to magnetos little hideout to see if he has her…" Victor ran his hands down her hair.

"I bet you missed me though, I can smell your need all over the house. Did you have a fun time fingerfucking yourself to my scent all week?" He asks in a gruff tone, picking Selene up by the ass.

"As for what you said about Birdy… We both know she wouldn't be able to satisfy me, even you have a hard time alone, what chance does she have?" Victor smashes his lips on Selene's in a domineering kiss, grinding her body against his.

"I want you to come with me tomorrow when I visit Magneto. And if you really don't want to be Birdy's toy… I suggest making sure she knows she can't control you. I warned you that you two were similar."

Victor smacked Selene's ass, annoyed by how clothed the two of them still are. "Enough talking," He snarled as he walked them to the bedroom, tasting the blood that had dripped out from her busted lip. "Like I said…you missed me, huh bitch?"

Selene's lips curled into a wicked grin against Victor's forceful kiss, the taste of her own blood heightening the primal tension between them. Her fangs extended as she bit down on his bottom lip, a mixture of defiance and dark amusement flashing in her eyes.

"Missed you?" she taunted breathlessly, her voice laced with sarcasm as she wrapped her legs around his waist. "I spent all week plotting what I'd do the next time you laid a hand on me. Fucking myself was just the warm-up, Victor."

Her nails raked down his back, drawing blood, the scent mingling with the air. She met his feral gaze with one of her own, her body pressing into his as she bit down on his neck, hard enough to mark him.

"As for Birdy..." she whispered against his skin, her tone dangerous. "She wouldn't last a minute trying to control me. If you want her out of the picture, just say the word. I'd be happy to make sure she knows her place."

She smirked, eyes gleaming with a deadly promise. "Tomorrow, Magneto won't even know what hit him. But tonight..." Selene's voice dropped to a sultry purr as she slid her hands  beneath Vics shirt, claws teasing the muscle yet. " I still have a day left of heat. Let's make the most of it."

Victors aroused growl was his best response as he rid them of their clothes.

He could get used to this.
