Lucian broke the window on the second floor to avoid whatever was on the first floor. He let Ren and Tian go first, then carried Medeia before he jumped down from the window.
Medeia didn't expect him to do that because jumping from the second floor was not a difficult thing for her, moreover, Lucian also knew that she wasn't a weakling. Still, he chose to carry her like a princess.
It was unnecessary, but Medeia didn't want to complain.
Before they walked, she had changed her shoes to Swampwalker Boots, making it easier for her to move on the muddy ground.
"Are you alright?" Tian checked on his brother's condition. His wounds were barely visible, but that didn't mean his stamina had fully recovered.
Instead of giving a serious answer, Ren teased him, "Are you going to carry me like a princess if I say no?"
Tian's face darkened. "I will tie you up, and then drag your body on the mud. Do you want me to do that, brother?"
