Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Gift of the Red Bead

Vishnu extended his hand toward the crystal, his divine touch infusing it with a deeper power. "This bead will guide Krishna on his journey, allowing him to comprehend the vastness of the multiverse. With it, he will be able to see into the hearts of stories—both real and imagined. And through these stories, he will find the answers he seeks."

Shiva, ever focused on the balance between creation and destruction, added his own energy to the crystal. "The bead will also protect him. It will guide him through dangerous times and help him navigate the forces of chaos that seek to undermine the balance. But Krishna must use it wisely. The power of knowledge is immense

The crystal, now infused with the collective power of the three gods, began to hum with an ethereal energy. It hovered in the air, glowing with an intense red light, as if it were alive. It had become more than just a talisman; it was now a conduit for Krishna's journey, a key to unlocking the mysteries of the universe.

As the gods watched the transformation, Vishnu's thoughts turned to Krishna's new incarnation. "Though he will be born again as a mortal, this time, he will have the ability to comprehend everything that the crystal offers. He will no longer be limited by the constraints of human understanding. Instead, he will see through the veil of illusion and grasp the deeper truths of existence."

Brahma smiled, his eyes glowing with the light of creation. "He will walk through the stories of humanity—both the ones that have been written and the ones yet to be told. The myths and legends of the world will be his guide. He will understand the deeper connections between them all and find the path to restoring balance in the universe."

Shiva, ever the watchful guardian of cosmic cycles, spoke with gravity. "But the journey will be long and difficult. The demons that have entered the universe are cunning, and they will try to corrupt him at every turn. They will twist the very stories he must rely on. He must remain vigilant and use the crystal's knowledge wisely. Only then can he hope to restore balance."

Vishnu, with a serene expression, reached out to the glowing red bead and sent it through the divine currents toward the universe where Krishna's soul was to be reborn. It will awaken within him the understanding of his true purpose. Though he will live as a mortal, the knowledge of the divine will be at his fingertips."

And so, the red crystal, now imbued with the knowledge of Earth's history, the wisdom of countless stories, and the ability to traverse the worlds of fiction, was sent on its journey. It would lie dormant until the moment Krishna's mortal self was ready to awaken to his greater destiny

.

In the celestial realms, where time and space dissolved into the eternal flow of energy, Lakshmi sat quietly, contemplating the gravity of the decision she had made. Her mind was settled, but her heart ached at the thought of what she must now do. Her union with Krishna in the mortal world had always been inevitable, a bond forged by fate and necessity, but this time was different. This time, her consciousness would be divided, a fragment of her essence sent to walk alongside him, to aid him in the dark times that lay ahead.

Lakshmi rose from her meditation and stood at the edge of the heavenly lake, its waters still and calm, reflecting the infinite cosmos above. She turned her thoughts inward, preparing for the separation of her consciousness, a process that had never been attempted by the goddess in this form.

It was one thing to send part of her energy to a mortal, but this time, she would send a fragment of her very soul—her awareness, her divine essence—into the mortal realm. For a moment, doubt flickered through her mind. Would Krishna accept this version of her? Could a fragment of a goddess truly offer the strength and guidance he needed? But she quickly pushed these thoughts away.

Krishna was a soul of great strength, chosen by fate to face the darkness threatening not only his world but the balance of all existence. And he would need her, even in a diminished form, by his side.Lakshmi closed her eyes and began the process. Slowly, she called forth the divine light within her, allowing a small but powerful fragment of her consciousness to separate from her core.

She felt a sharp pang, a tug on her essence, as if a piece of herself was being torn away. The light grew brighter, glowing with an intensity that filled the heavenly space around her.

She whispered softly into the energy forming before her, "Guide him, protect him, and remind him that he is never alone."The light pulsed once, twice, before it dimmed slightly and began to take shape.

As Lakshmi opened her eyes, she saw a small, radiant figure before her—a pure manifestation of her consciousness. This fragment, while small, carried with it her divine grace and wisdom. It would be enough. As the fragment hovered before her, awaiting its journey to the mortal plane, Lakshmi felt a deep sense of peace. This was the right path. Krishna would not walk this road alone
