"Master, wake up."
"Shh, let master rest you idiot."
"But—"
"No buts, master must be tired, and you're waking her up without letting her properly rest."
"She's been sleeping for at least five moons, that's a long time. What if she's dead?"
"You mean five hours? And why would master die from resting. Have you never slept before?"
"No, I'm the great Fenrir, of the Violet tribe, I don't need sleep."
"Urgh, you're an idiot indeed. Just let master rest, okay?"
"..."
"Silence is not an answer."
"I don't listen to weak werewolf."
"I don't know how master tolerated your idiocity, I think it's contagious."
"It's contag—what?"
"Argh.. will you two please for the love of all the gods buried under the red moon, just shut it."
"Master.."
"Master~"
Again Emily was woken up after falling unconscious from expanding too much Lunar energy. Which didn't make sense, because her reserves had grown since making Fenrir her Companion.
She sat up, and silently groaned, and although she felt as if a succubus had drained all of her soul from her body. She also felt oddly refreshed.
"The new Companion, did the people from the other room run away?"
"Master why not ask me?" Fenrir complained.
"Hehe- because you're an idiot," the new Companion rubbed salt on a wounded soldier.
"Master let me kill this–this—"
"No one is killing anyone, got that?"
"Yes master."
"Vixie, answer my question?"
"Vixie, is that my name, master?"
Emily's mind became clear enough for her to open her eyes. And was welcomed by the sight of her new Companion. Emily blinked, no words could describe her shock.
"Yeah.. it kind of suits your.. character, um can you tell me why you still look like Fenrir?"
She gave Emily a pout, as she folded her arms under her chest, "I don't look like this idiot, I have prettier eyes."
Fenrir glared at Vixie, while Emily noted that indeed the eyes were the only thing that was different between Fenrir and Vixie.
Fenrir's eyes were violet, crackling with a thunderstorm inside them. But Vixie's eyes were pure silver, with no iris and pupils. But other than that difference, they looked exactly the same.
'Wait, there is something different about them,' Emily remarked in her thoughts.
"Did you guys by any chance, get older by at least four years?"
Fenrir who hadn't take a notice looked at herself curiously. But Vixie smiled devilishly, and replied, "Yes, that big ol' idiot got older, grew a couple of centimetres too."
"Oh, well this has been a very strange day or night, I don't know. I wonder what other changes, am I going to find?"
Vixie's devilish grin widened, "I bet more surprises you never thought possible."
Emily narrowed her eyes at that, and looked at both Emily and Fenrir once again to see if she missed anything. But she found nothing, which meant it was something more internal rather than external.
'I bet if I appraise them, I'll see something shocking, well I'll do that later, for now..'
"You still haven't told me about Phil's group?"
"Oh yes, after I had woken up, I spent an hour trying to understand my situation, without disturbing master's sleep like this idiot, "she eyed Fenrir, then returned her gaze to Emily.
"As I got used to my new changes, I started to hear noise in there, then some fighting. When I asked this idiot to go there and check. She refused, saying she won't leave your sight. Which I guess is the only goof thing about her idiot brai—"
"Vixie, the point, geez.." Emily sighed, she was still not recovered enough to hear all the details.
Vixie rolled her eyes, "the point is, Heidi killed Phil, and I killed her. After all you did explicitly tell them no fighting and they didn't listen, so they needed to be taught a listen."
Emily massaged her head, which was when Vixie saw that, she took the opportunity to please her. And massaged her temples in her place.
Emily sighed contently, all in all this wasn't bad news. It was actually good news, she didn't know what to do with Phil to really tame him. And as for Heidi she didn't trust her to begin with, and all her doubts were resolve with a nice enough nap.
"Master seems pleased?" Fenrir said.
Emily shrugged, and moved away from Vixie's expert massage. And got off the bed. She stretched her limbs, and told her Companions to stay in, before she headed for Phil's room.
There she found blood everywhere, sprayed on the walls, the furniture, the hardwood floor, the further she went the more blood she encountered. Emily could guess how easily Phil was defeated, after all while he left his werewolf to guard the building outside. Heidi brought her werewolf, which she kept in her shadows.
She went to the bedroom, and found Jenny and Haley huddled together on the carpeted floor, fearful of their own shadow.
When they saw Emily, Haley shrank even further into Jenny. While Jenny had a glint of confidence Emily wouldn't do anything to her.
Emily didn't bother with them, and let her eyes wonder to the bed, where Heidi laid on top off it. Her neck was bruised and twisted in an odd angle, eyes wide open, face contorted to fear.
Emily stepped forward, and sat at the edge of the bed beside Heidi's corpse. This level of brutality, in another world—a peaceful world, would've sent her to madness, but now, all she did was coldly analyse everything with nothing but apathy.
She brought up her hands, and caressed Heidi's cheek, and smiled. Her smile lacked any sort of mirth, it was cold, unfeeling, yet there was a hint of pity, somewhere deep down. But unfortunately for Heidi, it was not the kind of pity most associated with remorse, rather it was pity filled with nothing but vanity.
'It's a pity your handsome face, will soon be rotting and going to waste,' Emily silently thought. She then proceeded to right Heidi's neck, so she would at least look less horrifying being dead.
Emily then appraised Heidi's corpse, and the familiar stat, she saw before appeared again before her eyes.

Lunar Storage: 1,9062 cubic feet.]
'That's what I thought, humans are a threat I should watch out for. Being an f-ranker alone is already a cheat. By my calculation being at the last stage of metamorphosis, would give Heidi the speed of 210.15 mph, but just evolving into a ranker gave her the speed three times of that, that's simply cheating.'
Emily's eyes roamed to Heidi's Lunar Storage, and sighed, 'I guess that's where she falls short.'
With a storage of 1,9062 cubic feet, she could house Lunar energy of about the size of a shoe, which isn't a lot. But the energy itself would allow her to use her Symbiote at least ten times.
'But with her housing her werewolf inside her shadow, her Lunar energy wouldn't be enough for her to use her second Symbiote more than once or twice.'
Emily's smile instantly became genuine, as a brilliant thought flashed in her mind. Hasn't she been meaning to test out her second Symbiote, Titled: Extract?
