The battlefield, already a scarred wasteland, erupted anew as Roylen began to shift tactics. His crimson aura flared brighter, twisting like a living entity around his form. Xalin, still glowing with the balanced energy of his Luminary state, stood his ground despite the growing pressure from Roylen's overwhelming spiritual force.
"You've done well to keep up," Roylen said, his voice calm yet mocking. "But you're outmatched. Let me show you the difference between us."
Roylen extended his arm, his fingers flexing as blood-red orbs began to form around him. The orbs pulsed with lethal intent, and without warning, they shot forward like bullets, each one carving through the air with deadly precision.
"Blood Bullets!" Roylen roared, unleashing a storm of crimson projectiles.
Xalin's instincts took over. He danced through the barrage with a mix of agility and precision, weaving between the attacks as wind currents and shadow energy propelled his movements. Even so,several bullets grazed him, tearing into his robes and leaving faint burns on his skin.
"Not enough!" Roylen bellowed, raising his hands. A massive, swirling sphere of condensed blood formed above him, crackling with raw energy. With a mighty thrust, he hurled it toward Xalin.
"Blood Cannon!"
The crimson sphere roared through the air, dwarfing Xalin in size. He summoned all his remaining strength, conjuring a barrier of swirling elements-water, air, and shadow-merged into a defensive wall. The Blood Cannon collided with Xalin's barrier, detonating in a violent explosion that sent
shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.
When the dust cleared, Xalin was on one knee, his breathing labored. His barrier had held, but just barely.Across from him, Roylen hovered in the air, his dark armor glowing ominously.
"Is that it?" Roylen sneered. "You're
starting to bore me."
The Predator's Assault
In a blur of motion, Roylen vanished from sight, reappearing high above Xalin. His crimson aura intensified as he dropped from the sky like a meteor.
Xalin barely had time to react before Roylen slammed into him with earth-shattering force. The impact created a massive crater, the ground splintering and raving in under the weight of Roylen's attack. Xalin's body was thrown backward,
skidding across the ground as dust and debris filled the air.
Lira and Kell, watching from the sidelines, realized the dire situation Lira's voice trembled with urgency. "We can't just stand here! He's going to kill Xalin!"
Kell nodded, his berserker instincts kicking in. Without hesitation, the two charged toward the battle, their combined auras flaring as they prepared to intervene.
Roylen noticed their approach and
smirked. "How cute. The cavalry
arrives."
Before Xalin could recover, Roylen grabbed him by the collar and hurled him toward Lira. Xalin's battered body flew through the air like a ragdoll, but before he could collide with her, Roylen vanished and reappeared in front of Kell.
"Stay out of this!" Roylen roared, delivering a devastating punch to Kell's chest. The force of the blow sent Kell flying out of the battlefield, his body crashing into a distant
mountain and crumpling unconscious.
Lira screamed, her blood aura surging as she prepared to strike Roylen. But before she could act,Roylen intercepted Xalin mid-air,catching him effortlessly. With a cruel grin, he used Xalin as a weapon, swinging him like a club to bash Lira twice. Her defenses crumbled under the assault, and she collapsed to the ground, blood
trickling from her mouth.
Roylen wasn't finished. He slammed
Xalin into the ground with enough
force to create another crater, the ground buckling under the impact.Xalin's body convulsed as Roylen's relentless assault continued. His fists, glowing with Qi, pounded into Xalin's form, each strike sending shockwaves through the planet
itself.
A Planet Shattered
The ground beneath them cracked and caved as Roylen's punches grew
fiercer. With a roar, Roylen channeled his Qi into his arms, his strikes becoming even more devastating. Each blow drove Xalin
deeper into the earth, carving a tunnel through the planet. On the final punch, Roylen's fist carried Xalin through the planet's core, creating a gaping hole that connected one side of the planet to the other.
Emerging on the opposite side, Roylen caught up to Xalin before he could fall any further. With a single, brutal swing, he sent Xalin hurtling back through the hole, his body crashing through the shattered
remains of the planet's core.
The entire planet trembled as Roylen continued his assault. With one final, catastrophic punch, the planet split in two, massive chunks of earth and rock floating into space. Xalin's broken body lay motionless among the debris, his aura flickering weakly.
The Predator's Triumph
Roylen hovered above the remnants of the planet, his dark aura blazing like an inferno. He spotted Xalin's limp form and descended with terrifying speed, grabbing him by the foot.
"Not yet," Roylen growled, his crimson eyes burning with sadistic glee. He spun Xalin's body in mid-air, rotating at blinding speed before hurling him into a massive chunk of the shattered planet. Xalin's body
crashed through the rock, shattering it to pieces, and continued to fall into the void of space.
Lira, bloodied and trembling, watched helplessly as Xalin disappeared from view. "Xalin.." she whispered, tears streaming down her face.
Roylen hovered in the void, his expression cold and emotionless. "It's over."
He turned away, his crimson armor gleaming against the backdrop of the ruined planet. Xalin, the luminary, had fallen.
