[Welcome to the fifth round. This round is an "Event" round. In this round, all "pieces" have to defend 10 waves of monsters. The monsters will get stronger with every wave. Once a monster is killed, you will gain EXP and Bronze Coins. Monsters also have a chance to drop equipment that they are using. The higher the rank of the monster, the higher the chance of an Equipment drop. Good luck with surviving!]
[Wave 1: Goblins]
The "Pierces" were teleported to the
Having no choice, the "pawns" were the first to engage the enemy. However, what everyone failed to notice was the timer before the next wave. [0:59]
Just as they finished the first wave, another one started right away, not giving the "pieces" any time to rest. This time there were 16 goblins. The
In wave 3 goblin archers appeared. The hobgoblins acted as tanks taking the bulk of the damage. Seeing this, Arthur decided to act, and take care of the goblin archers in the back.
The hobgoblins didn't stay idle. Some decided to follow Arthur therefore, lessening the pressure from the frontlines. Arthur was able to dispatch 3 out of 8 goblin archers before the hobgoblins caught up to him, using his
The remaining five goblin archers aimed their bows at Arthur, but he dodged some of them, and closed the distance between them fast enough, making the bows essentially useless. He was able to dispatch the remaining Archers just in time for wave four.
This time there were 8 goblins and 8 hobgoblins as well as 8 goblin archers. Seeing this, Arthur decided to get rid of the goblin archers first. However, this time he was not able to kite as many enemies due to their sheer number.
He was able to dispatch them easily due to his stats and the
Wave 5. In this wave, the goblins were marching in formation for the first time. In the center of the formation, was a goblin with a hood and a staff. If I had to guess, the guy in the middle is the boss. Arthur said to himself. The goblin mage was surrounded by 8 hobgoblins.
Having no choice, the "pieces" engaged in combat once again. However, the goblin mage started chanting an incantation. As he did so, a fireball, the size of a fist, was made and before they knew it, everyone was blasted away like bowling pins.
This guy can use skills! Arthur said to himself, with a shocked expression. All the "pawns" were dead at this point, except Arthur. It took a very long time, and the personal intervention of the "Queen" to finally take down the Goblin Mage. In addition to the fireball spell, the Goblin Mage had a magic barrier defense skill that prolonged the fight further.

On the sixth wave, Arthur and company received new enemies. Instead of Hobgoblins, there were now chieftains who acted as tanks for the crossbowmen, which replaced Goblin Archers.
Seeing this, Arthur sprang into action, by taking out the crossbowmen as fast as possible. He allowed the chieftains to be aggroed by the knights, while the queen took care of them rather quickly. This time there were 4 chieftains, but they were twice as strong as the Hobgoblins. There were also eight crossbowmen, but Arthur took care of them.
[You have gained 96 EXP for killing a Goblin Crossbowman x8]
For waves: seven, eight, and nine, the amount of chieftains and goblin crossbowmen kept increasing. The only ones who were able to survive at the frontlines were: Arthur and one of the two knights. One of the knights sacrificed himself to protect the Queen-side from getting breached by the chieftains.
Arthur was able to survive this long because he made sure to keep the aggro off of himself, and even still he ended up using three out of the four HP Potions due to injuries from the Goblin Crossbowmen. Thankfully, he was able to kill them all due to his

Finally, on the 10th wave, the final boss came out: The Goblin King. He was surrounded by 8 chieftains in the front and there were 8 Goblin crossbowmen at the back. The Goblin King himself was twice as strong as a chieftain with a massive club in hand.
The battle took a very long time. As usual, Arthur decided to take care of the Goblin Crossbowmen. However, he failed due to a strong defense from the Goblin King. Then Arthur decided to split the Chieftans from the Goblin King, as well as open a pathway to get to the Goblin Crossbowmen
He succeeded with his plan, but more pressure on the backline. Arthur decided to get rid of the Goblin Crossbowmen as fast as possible to get back to the frontlines as fast as possible
[You have gained 96 EXP for killing a Goblin Crossbowmen x8]
Arthur was able to get rid of the Goblin Crossbowmen, but when he got back to the frontlines the situation was horrible. Even though the "pieces" were able to get rid of all the chieftains, the Goblin King still had 90% of his HP. Furthermore, the last Knight as well as all of the Kingside. Now all that was left was: Arthur and most of the Queenside.
It took a very long time to defeat the Goblin King, especially because the Goblin King had a skilled,
