The room was thick with a heavy, tense atmosphere. Kira's wives, Mitsuko and Akemi, sat on the cold floor, shoulders slumped, their beautiful faces stained with tears that glistened even in the dim light. Their breasts, pressing against their chests as they leaned forward, heaved with silent sobs, nipples faintly visible under their tops in the soft light. Their heads were bowed, and their usually sharp eyes were red and puffy, mirroring the despair they felt. The soft glow from a single lamp barely lit up the room, casting long shadows across their exposed thighs and hinting at curves usually seen with confidence.

It was clear both women felt as though something precious had been ripped away from them.

Mitsuko's voice broke the silence. "Why...? What did we do wrong?" she murmured, her usually teasing tone barely a whisper, her head buried in her arms, which were resting on her knees. Her braid slid forward, brushing the soft skin of her cheek as she hid her face.

Akemi, her voice equally fragile, added, "I... I don't understand either. Did we offend him somehow?" Her red hair fell over her face as she hugged herself, leaning slightly forward. The neckline of her top slipped just enough to expose a generous hint of cleavage, her curves softly outlined in the dim light.

Their confusion only deepened, minds clouded with uncertainty. Their bodies, usually so graceful and teasing, now hunched, uncertain, as if trying to make sense of the sudden coldness from Kira. In their minds, they kept reaching out for answers, wondering where things had gone wrong.

As their despair settled further, a sudden, sharp sound filled the airā€”whoosh! A glowing portal materialized in the room, a sight they were slowly getting used to. This time, two familiar figures stepped out.

The portal faded, and Rika and Tomo entered, laughing and chatting, oblivious to the tension in the room. Their clothes hugged their toned bodies; Rika's ample chest bounced as she adjusted to the sudden disorientation, while Tomo's strong, athletic form shifted as she steadied herself. They glanced around, their eyes landing first on the dim room, with the curtains drawn, then the bedside lamp barely illuminating the area.

Then they saw their mothers, Mitsuko and Akemi, seated on the floor in tear-streaked silence, leaning against the bed with knees drawn up and heads buried. The moment they saw them, their expressions shifted, irritation rising.

Without a second thought, they strode over, gripping their mothers' shoulders and lifting their heads to face them. Their hands rested firmly on their mothers' shoulders, pushing them back just enough to reveal tear-streaked cheeks and flushed, sad eyes.

Rika's voice was sharp, filled with irritation. "Mom, what the hell happened here?" Her tone was anything but gentle, lips pursed, eyes glinting with a mix of frustration and disappointment.

Tomo, with her usual bluntness, chimed in, her hands firmly planted on her hips, pushing her chest forward. "Seriously, what's going on?!"

Sniffling, Mitsuko and Akemi tried to explain, recalling how they hadn't seen Kira in days, the sudden urge to check on him, and thenā€¦ the shift in his behavior. They spoke with a mix of shame and confusion, their heads bowed, breasts slightly spilling from their loose tops as they tried to gather their thoughts.

But instead of sympathy, their daughters' reactions were swift, eyes narrowing, irritation radiating from both of them.

Rika folded her arms, her chest rising as she glared at Mitsuko. "When was the last time you even saw him?"

Mitsuko blinked, struggling to remember. "It's beenā€¦ about 15 days? Maybe 20?"

Akemi nodded, rubbing her temple. "Yes, around that timeā€¦ We've been busy."

Rika let out an exasperated sigh, leaning back on one hip, arms crossed under her bust. "Are you serious?! You haven't seen him in 15 days, and now you're crying because he's upset?!"

Both mothers exchanged confused glances, struggling to understand. "W-We didn't ignore him! We were justā€¦ occupied," Mitsuko tried to defend, fingers nervously clutching at her sleeves.

Tomo, hands still on her hips, scoffed. "Occupied? You were so caught up in your own little world that you didn't even think about spending five minutes with him? What did you expect?!"

The bluntness of her words stung. Mitsuko looked away, clearly feeling the sting, her shoulders slumping, the neckline of her shirt slipping just a bit lower.

Rika's gaze sharpened as she stepped closer. "He asked about you every single day. Every. Single. Day. At first, he believed us when we told him you were working on some 'surprise' for him. But after weeks of nothing, he justā€¦ gave up. And now here you are, acting all surprised."

Mitsuko and Akemi's faces paled as the reality of the situation settled in.

Tomo's words cut even deeper as she folded her arms, her expression fierce. "You were so wrapped up in yourselves that you didn't even think about how he felt. And now you're crying because he's distant? Really?"

The two mothers sat there, stunned, as if finally seeing the truth.

Rika sighed, her voice softening, but still firm. "Look, I get it. You have your passions, your projects. But relationships don't work like that. He reached out, but you shut him down, time and time again. You can't be shocked that he's pulled away now."

Mitsuko's voice trembled, a tear slipping down her cheek. "Iā€¦ didn't mean toā€¦"

Tomo shook her head, crossing her arms tighter, leaning over just enough to make her point clear. "Well, it happened. And now you have to face the consequences. If you ignore someone for weeks, you can't expect them to be waiting with open arms."

The weight of their daughters' words hit Mitsuko and Akemi hard, leaving them silent and reflective, finally realizing the mess they'd created.

Akemi's voice, small and uncertain, broke the silence. "Is itā€¦ too late?"

Rika exchanged a glance with Tomo, her voice gentler, but still blunt. "You'll have to find that out yourselves. But if you keep acting like everything's fine, then yeah, it just might be."

The room fell quiet, the tension thick, but there was now a spark of determination in Mitsuko and Akemi's eyes.

(Some minutes later)

As the air grew lighter, the severity of the moment eased slightly. Rika and Tomo exchanged a look. Rika smirked, reaching over to slap Tomo playfully on the back, causing her friend to stumble slightly, her top shifting just enough to reveal a bit more of her curves.

Rika chuckled. "Jeez, you really laid it on thick there, didn't you?"

Tomo rubbed her back, smirking. "Hey, someone had to. Better us than Kira himself, right?"

Rika shrugged, her smirk widening. "You're not wrong. Besides, admit itā€”you enjoyed making them squirm a little too much."

Tomo winked, her usual mischievous grin returning. "Maybe just a bit."

As the room lightened with their banter, Mitsuko and Akemi looked at each other with renewed determination. It was time to make amends, no matter how much it took.
