Chapter Forty-Seven: Freedom
Dusken sighed in defiance. Being an Abyssal Demon had brought him nothing but trouble.
Two nations were willing to battle each other to the death just to decide who would get him.
There was no honour in this, other than the fact that they viewed him as a livestock that they could come and pick up anytime.
No one asked for his opinion because they saw him as weak, no one cared about how he felt because they saw him as a tool and no one thought he had a say because he was a level one.
Dusken clenched his fists, rage simmering within him.
'I must be free,' he thought with gritted teeth. He wanted freedom, to be free of all bindings, free from the chains of his identity as an Abyssal Demon and to be free from all those who sought to harm him.
There was only one way to attain freedom in this world… power.
