Ethan finally lay on his back, staring at the ceiling with a satisfied smirk, his breathing still uneven.
Beside him, Charlotte curled into his side, her fingers lightly tracing patterns on his chest.
Neither of them spoke for a while, both lost in the warmth of the moment. Then, Charlotte broke the silence.
"I can't believe you got me to do that."
"Got you to do what?" Ethan chuckled, his hand finding her waist and pulling her even closer.
She propped herself up on one elbow, her hair cascading over her shoulder as she looked down at him.
"To completely lose control."
"Really?" He grinned. "But you didn't seem to mind."
"Don't say it." Charlotte rolled her eyes but smiled.
Ethan shifted, turning to face her as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. His gaze softened.
"You're so sweet."
A blush crept up her cheeks, and she quickly looked away. "Shut up."
