Ethan remained still, but said nothing. A flicker of pain crossed his eyes, though he masked it well.
Charlotte swallowed hard, shifting her gaze between the two men before finally speaking.
"Ryan… you really don't know that Ethan is your elder brother?" She asked and Ryan's expression flickered with shock.
"Brother?" he repeated, glancing at Ethan once more before shaking his head. "No… that's not possible."
His voice was laced with disbelief, almost as if the idea itself was absurd. Then he let out a small scoff.
"There's no way I would have someone like that as a brother."
