Suddenly, Dr. Hewitt's voice broke through Ethan's thoughts.
"Mr Grayson," the doctor called firmly.
Ethan blinked, snapping back to the present. He turned to look at Dr. Hewitt before silently walking back to the couch and sitting down.
The doctor did the same, exhaling deeply.
Ethan's gaze remained fixed on the brown envelope in his hand. His grip tightened slightly before he spoke.
"Is there anything else you know about Eleanor?" His voice was steady, but there was an edge to it.
"No. I only conducted two DNA tests for her. The first one…" He hesitated, then continued, "showed that Eleanor is not the biological daughter of the Whitmore family."
Ethan's eyes flickered, but he remained silent.
"The second test," Dr. Hewitt went on, nodding toward the envelope in Ethan's hands, "is this one. A copy but the original result has already been sent to Eleanor."
"Hmm," Ethan exhaled through his nose. "Alright."
