The rest of our trip to the city was a lot of fun. Petra showed us around her favorite food places one of which was surprisingly a barbecue where we ate lunch. Apparently it was a style of barbecue popular in the far eastern parts of the world. Extremely thin cuts of meat were served with a variety of sauces and side dishes and we had to grill the meat ourselves.
After having lunch, we spent the afternoon watching a theater play about the founding of the Empire. According to Petra, it wasn't quite historically accurate, but the main plot events were close enough. It was incredibly interesting how they managed to incorporate history with music and theater to produce a captivating musical play.
After a brief dinner we came home to find an intruder had barged in the house with no notice. The porch lights were on, and light was seeping out through through the curtains from the living room. However, the signs weren't enough to make Petra hesitate to enter the house.
