His eyes sparkled with excitement, and his voice carried that over-the-top enthusiasm that only came when inspiration struck him like a lightning bolt.
"Today's the day!" he exclaimed, his face practically glowing. "This scene is going to be magnificent. Intimate. Raw. Beautiful!"
I stood at the edge of the set, my stomach twisting itself into tight knots. "Wait, hold on," I said, raising a hand like I was back in school. "We're filming the love scene today? Wasn't that supposed to happen later?"
The director turned to me, still beaming. "Plans change, darling! The timing felt right. Inspiration struck!"
Inspiration for who? Certainly not me.
