"No, although it's not real, and I'm not even sure if there is people residing in this town, I won't run away like last time. What is the point of me regressing if I can't even gather the courage to defeat this foul beast?!" I gritted my teeth and prepped myself for the fight incoming.
Currently, the dragon is nowhere to be seen. Maybe I was just unlucky the first time, maybe the day changes randomly each time you die in the tutorial.

I jolted in surprise when I heard the system.
"Woah! You can do that? I mean I wasn't even thinking about you, I thought I have to think about you for you to pop up!" I was unpleasantly surprised that the system could jump scare me at anytime of the day.

"Well, how long do I have until the dragon arrives then?" I need to prepare a plan to fight a literal godlike beings to me currently.

I was bombarded by system notifications, and also flabbergasted at the requirement to gain access about the details of the tutorial mission.
"You cannot be serious, a hundred time to view such a simple information? Who thought that this was a good idea?"

"I know that! It was a rhetorical question!" I'm having a massive headache just talking to this system.
"Ugh whatever, winging it, it is. God this tactic never works for me, but it's my only option for now, I don't want to die for a hundred time. Wait, do I at least get food for the tutorial?"

"Alright, at least I don't have to worry about hunger anymore."
I immediately started training, I don't know how much time I got left, but every seconds counts right now. I did some basic training, and swung my sword a bunch of times, although I have experience from my last live, my current body is too weak to use any of my move.
"God damn it, why didn't I go to the gym more often?!" I cursed at myself for being unfit.
After 10 pathetic pushups, I collapsed on the ground gasping for air.
"Yeah, I'm starting to think that I might need at least 1000 years to beat this dragon." Although I was complaining, I had a smile on my face.
"The difficulty makes this a bit more exhilarating. The pressure of the world ending is no longer upon me. It's been a while since I felt so liberated." However, in the far distance, darkness was consuming the sunlight, I can sense the impending danger radiating from the darkness.
"It must be the dragon, damn it! I'm not even ready yet, I swear this is rigged!" I grabbed my wooden sword and prepared myself for the inevitable. I tried to regain as much strength as I could, I took a deep breath and closed my eyes to calm myself down.

The darkness is approaching at a steady pace. However, everything behind it was laid waste by it, it was not a pretty sight for sure.
I was unconsciously trembling in fear, my mind is telling me to run away as fast as I could. Even though every fiber of my being is telling me to run away, but my body won't let me. I want to make this right; I want to save this town. I won't run away like last time! I need to get revenge, even if this is a simulation.

I couldn't dodge in time, so I blocked it with my wooden sword, but of course, it snapped. I mean it would be weird if it didn't, it is like the equivalent of a truck hitting a wooden stick.
"Well, sh-" I felt my body being crushed to pieces.
A moment later, all I saw was darkness
