A few hours after the Betrothal Tournament of the kingdom's finesse Maiden, the pale blue leaves of the trees rustled.
The faint grunts and shrieks of the bloody pack of wolves can be heard as they lost limbs by each swing of the mighty illuminating sword.
Luke swung with fierceness as he took out his pent up anger on the pack of wolves that triggered his anger.
All his life... He has fought his way to the top. Born an orphan, no father figure or mother figure to mentor and guide him to the right path. All he ever had was that damn doll Hidden underneath his amour.
He dodged the Wolf that lunch at him with an uncomfortable angle and cleaved it's body with horizontal slash.
The remaining two dashed at him, catching him off guard, but he expected such outcome.
"Divine judgement, heavens unshakable Spear..." He points his palm at the two behind him and whispered the chant... "Spectral Spear!"
The familiar bright blue beam shot out from his palm and struck the two wolves, obliterating them from the dungeon and taking nearly half of the surrounding trees behind.
This was the same attack Nador copied, but on a much more concentrated and powerful level as this was the original while his version was simply the knockoff low budget version.
He always had the mindset that a powerhouse should always be low-key, but Nador simply shattered the unspoken rule with an air of nonchalance and strange superiority.
"That shameless Elf!" Luke grumbled underneath his breath, but the surrounding growls from the monsters nearby reached his ears. It was already nighttime, the period of the day where a monster's aggression is amplified by over a thousand times. So now we aren't just staring at two or three monsters... No, we're talking about 7-8 groups slowly surrounding Luke's location.
And please note that within a group we can have about 6 monsters and their leader/Alpha.
Instead of cowering in fear, Luke simply snorted before slamming his feet on the ground and shooting up high in the air amd with a burst of golden light flew over to the groups of monsters at the speed of light.
Beatrice silently watched from the sidelines and calmly noted the change in emotions with a thoughtful expression.
'All this was just due to his encounter with that strange Elf.' She silently wondered, watching how Luke's blurry figure clad in gold light obliterated the groups of monsters within the dungeon.
She knew his strength was interesting... But seeing his brute method of dealing with foes, she couldn't help but silently give a thank you to Nador who was probably still at the stadium.
An orc dashed to the oblivious Beatrice who stood there in thought. With his mace hoisted high in the air, he slammed at her but suddenly collapsed on the ground, slashed in two equal halves.
Luke stood beside Beatrice with his brow raised in question, clearly concerned for her.
"What are you worried about?" He asked. Strange enough, his body remained void of any blood stain, as well as his sword even after clearing through the hordes of monsters.
"Have you received this floor's rewards?" She asked, clearly ignoring his concern.
"Oh, Yes. Strange enough, this particular floor blessed me yet again with a Magic grade Armour! Isn't that weird?" He replied, sheepishly scratching his cheeks with a toothy grin.
Her brows involuntarily shot up in surprise before returning to it's neutral position. Another reason why she decided to follow him was not due to boredom... Well it was part of the reason but not the full reason.
It was his damn luck. His luck sends lady luck on a run for her money.
Casually discovering two Magical Grade armour in a floor! Not the boss room but the floor!? That's unheard of!
And he treats it like he had experienced such before... "Such strange boy." She muttered under her breath. The other day he discovered a Master grade healing Elixir, it brought her to a state of shock that even shocks her at the remembrance of the thought several weeks later.
(Imagine the worth of the medical cure for cancer and other thousands of deadly afflictions placed in a few drops... That's the worth of the elixir.)
Now another individual has caught her attention with his excessive talent and mysterious appearance. Breaking through ranks through fights has been only shown in the past millions of years ago by a lone person... Others wouldn't be able to sense the change, but she who's level is the very peak could easily sense without any stress.
"Let's just hope it does not come to that." She thought, recalling the history of the powerful man of the past.
The only human able to rise from the ground to stand on equal footings with the gods and gain divinity. THE GOD OF MYSTERY!
Alas, he disappeared eons and never returned due to some feud in the heavens between the gods of some sorts...
"Again, worrying about me? How thoughtful." Luke interups with his cringe worthy line, earning a frown Beatrice.
"Let's dive deeper." She replied in a flat tone before walking ahead, leaving Luke behind.
"H-Hey! Wait up!" He dashed after her, leaving bodies of monsters on the floor that was slowly absorbed into the ground like sponge against water.
They cleared the next two before returning back to the town's inn. Sensing the aura of the person that had been in her mind, Beatrice sent Luke off with a warning.
"Don't go off peeking on couples performing intercourses. You want one, get one!" She spoke with the sternness of a mother advising a child before walking off to the direction.
'I-I was only doing that to get your attention.' Luke thought with a sigh before heading back th the inn, not forgetting to steal a glance at her ass.
She walked through the town with indifferent pace, the people around ignored her existence as she casted a very strong conceal spell, not wanting to be bothered by married men. With a step, she simply phased through the door and approached the blonde male at the far end of the bar.
[Ding!]
[AN ANCIENT MONSTER HAS TAKING A LIKING OF YOU... SURVIVE THE ENCOUNTER.]
[Reward: YOUR LIFE!]
"EEH?" A strange sound escaped his lips before his eyes met with Beatrice who simply smiled at him.
'OH SHIT."
