[Congratulations, you finally got an absolute skill. I hope they don't notice it]
Anna told him, but he didn't listen—or couldn't listen.
He was still meditative; his body was still glowing, the golden light shining brighter than the moonlight of the forest.
For a moment, golden scales started to appear on his body, like armor. The scales covered half of him, but they disappeared when he opened his eyes, and he slowly landed on the ground.
Alan tapped on his chest, trying to find if there was any injury in his chest. He was shocked; there was not a trace of any wounds. His previous injuries from the battles were not there, and he was feeling more energetic than before.
"System, tell me about this soul world."
Soul World: The soul world is a skill that allows the user to tap into an inner, spiritual dimension—essentially an alternate realm within their soul. This realm is not physical but a manifestation of the user's inner world, thoughts, emotions, and essence.
The Soul World can be used for a variety of purposes: the user can hide themselves or anyone they want for a certain time, trap enemies here, or keep anything or anyone they want here. As the ultimate ruler of this world, every single being in this world has to listen to you.
The user can enter the Soul World for extended periods while only moments pass in the physical world. You can master any skills here or strategize without losing time in the real world.
The potential of this technique depends on the user.
The more you understand about resonance and master it, the more this world will grow.
"Fucking overpowered skill! I feel like I'm becoming like that overpowered protagonist of novels."
[Why are you so lucky? First, you got two beautiful wives and got the universe's most sexy, beautiful, almighty helper—me—and now you have this skill. This world is unfair!]
"Such a narcissist! You should see my wives closely; I bet you are not even 1% of them," Alan teased her.
[We will see in the future if everything goes right.]
Anna whispered, and Alan couldn't catch what she said.
"What did you say?"
[Nothing. Let's go home.]
Alan nodded, but he felt that Anna was also hiding something from him. Like his wives, at first he doubted them, but due to their soul connection, he found there was no lie in their words, so he trusted them.
After living with them for a while, he felt they were genuine people; he had never been like this before—never thought about falling in love—yet now he had this abnormal feeling growing for two beautiful women whom he met a few weeks ago.
Alan felt they were not telling him anything for his good or that they were in some trouble. So he decided he would train like hell and become their pillar whom they could rely on; he wanted to be the best for his wives.
"Okay, let's go," Alan replied, but he took a pause and said, "How do we leave from here?"[Dumbass!]
In a moment, Alan found himself in front of his house." Anna, you are so fucking cool! How did you do it?" Alan said with a puzzled expression.
[Hahaha! Bow down to me, peasant! Praise me more, then I will tell you.]
Alan facepalmed himself hearing her self-loving talk and ignored her as he walked into his house.
He was speechless at what he saw in his room as he entered.
Christiana was yelling while watching TV and imitating the actions of a certain white-haired, blue-eyed character."He is cool and handsome! Did you see it, sis? How cool that move was? How he kicked the head of that monster? That purple move was fire!" Christiana was telling Elena.
Alan could see an irritating expression on her face; she was annoyed by her childish behavior but continued to entertain her as a loving big sis would. "He is okay," Elena said with a sigh. "But I must say the other one with four hands and two mouths is better than him; he seems smarter than the one you are glazing over."
"Sis! How could you?" Christiana started punching her softly and began sobbing dramatically like a drama queen. "That guy is so ugly!" Christiana said as she continued her gentle punches. Elena ignored her dramatic act and continued to focus on TV.
Alan was surprised by this event; his mouth dropped to the floor. He knew that Christiana was addicted to TV, but he never knew she was this addicted. What surprised him the most was Elena's actions; he never expected the usual classy, demure Elena to be interested in this.
He was clearly bothered by it; he was both confused and sad—not because they were addicted to this but because they were so focused that they didn't even notice he was standing there.
"If those characters were real, I would slice them in half—especially that white-haired one," Alan coughed, hoping to get their attention.
"Oh! You are here!" Elena was the first to notice him. She suddenly appeared before him as if she had just teleported and started pulling him by his shirt to the sofa.
He found himself sitting between Elena and Christiana; the soft sensation of their bodies sent electricity through his entire body.
Christiana suddenly pulled his left hand until his elbow touched something soft.
"So soft," Alan said in his head.
"Alan! Tell sis that white guy is cooler than the ugly one!"
Alan was about to say something but was interrupted by Elena: "He can't; his focus is on something else.
"Christiana noticed Alan's hand and teased him: "Heh! Pervert."
"Why are you calling him a pervert when you're the one who pulled his hand?" Elena said.
"Oops! Sorry! But I know he won't mind it because this is like a reward for him," Christiana said while grabbing his hand tightly.
Alan knew she was teasing him; this was her personality. But he didn't back down; he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer until she sat in his lap—his lips just inches apart from hers—as with his right hand he wrapped around Elena's waist.
His eyes filled with warmth as a soft smile played on his lips; their gazes locked. "May I have the honor of taking you both on a date?"
