Alex always has been interested in angels since he was a child.
For this reason, his peers leave no chance to make fun of him considering how childish he is to believe in fairy tales which are nothing more than a lie to fool toddlers.
Though their views succeeded to make a change in his behaviour, but it was quite the opposite effect as his longing to see "angels" increased exponentially over the time.
At the age of 11, his entire room was finally redecorated in a holy theme after he barely managed to convince his mom.
Soon, collecting angelic things become a hobby for him. Whether it was a book, clay figures varying from 2 winged cherub to 18 winged seraphim or any TV program featuring it. He would always save some money and buy them on the first day of release.
As he grow more older, his path came across RPG games and for a brief moment he even forget about his very being as he finally found something akin to his taste.
1. Awaken as a hero in a countryside village, make a 'Harem', defeat the demon lord and receive God's praise through the mouth of his designated spokesperson, The Guide A.K.A., a beautiful blonde angel.
2. Got Summoned by a groups of blonde haired angels to fight against the demon lord, become the Kingdom's chosen warrior, Make a 'Harem', defeat the demon lord, recieve angel's gratitude and a happy ending.
3. Reincarnate into a new born baby, stumble upon ancient treasures, Inherit the will of past Chosen ones, Make a 'Harem', defeat the demon lord, recieve angel's gratitude and another happy ending.
Usually the RPG games have a very consistent storyline and the medium of Hero's strength is none other than the Goddess blessings which is often passed down by an guardian angel. The hero who recieved this tremendous power become the only man with Light attributed abilities and begins to defeat powerful and fierce evil people one after another till the Kingdom of demon king has no one but souless corpses all over it's land. In the end, the Hero alongside with Sage, Mage and Tank returns to his native Kingdom, to marry the eldest princess and his other confidants. Soon he will take charge of previous King's authority. Thus, concluding a happy ending.
After playing this kind of games for a while, Alex begins to...hate this stuff. Playing as the main Character, he wanted to make a perfect happy ending. An ending where he could he make his favourite woman happy.
-If I, as the main character couldn't marry an angel then, what kind of main protagonist am I ?
At some point his thoughts become a little twisted, his desire and longing for angels has turned into an inexplicable obsession from an initial curiosity.
Sleeping with an Angel body pillow ( female version ), Only using cooking utensils with a blonde angel art ( female version ), Arranging his lunch in a way that it resembles a winged person ( again female version ), even the toiletries he used as has blonde angels printed all over it. Undoubtedly, he has developed a disorder, which may lead to severe complications in the future. His parents also tried to see some famous doctors for the same but their efforts were also proven fruitless as several well known psychiatrist found it difficult to restore his mental state back to that of a normal human being.
They were truly helpless seeing their child's future was nowhere bright as they have expected it to be and can only pray to God to have mercy on his pitful self.
Meanwhile, a big happened event at this time, 'Angel Frontiers' was launched on various platforms, a large scale strategy game filled with elements mixed of standard RPG and multi player dungeon raiding.
In the beginning, each player is summoned into a random Kingdom on the world map, where they have to make an initial reputation for themselves, followed by an occupation and finally assistance from different NPC forces. These are the minimum criteria you have to fulfill in order to both subjugate monsters hunting and to earn resources in the fast mode. An additional 'Qualification' to challenge Demon Lord's minions can be also obtained after reaching a certain progress on the world map.
If this was all to offer then, 'Angel Frontiers' wouldn't be considered a big event. Because the interface system they used is different from other companies. Each player is only given a single chance to gather enough 'Repuatation', 'Occupation' and 'assistance' before reaching level 25. Failing to do so will impose a penalty - though which you can't hunt monster and can not explore the area past the current town/city. In the end, you can only do some odd jobs like, Chef, Security, Blacksmith etc.. making you no different from a NPC.
Many players found this rule quite uncomfortable and even expressed their dissatisfaction but the team behind the game still refused to make amend in it as they emphasised - 'Angel Frontiers' was made to meet up with player's demand for more realistic experience, and failing to complete the most basic can only mean this doesn't have a Destiny with you.
This statement caused a shift in player's opinion and people with a more competitive spirit almost fell in love with it. For a while, the number of new logging in also increased to an astonishing 25 million in 3rd week and the total player base almost reached 50 million on the first month anniversary.
To be honest, this should haven't anything to do with Alex's live who longs for nothing but angels even in his blurry dreams but the 2nd major world level announcement was what attracted his attention to something that will change his life for eternity.
• 2nd Major Update : Players with enough reputation can make relationship with NPC of the opposite sex and can even register a marriage. As long as your reputation and occupation is high enough, you can even make a harem of 999 beauties.
"Hahaha, I can finally have an angel wife"
Alex clapped his hand in excitement when he looked over the SSR character list in the WiKi, both surprise and happiness were overflowing from his eyes as he install the game right away.

With a beautiful upbeat BGM, the opening screen shows different characters each excluding different kind of aesthetic beauty. You can see Devilishly Charming Mr. Prince, The gentle and vulptous Elf Queen, The Pitte but fiery redheaded female mage, The calm ancient wizard and so many more... As the screen change to tutorial mode, Alex's eyes had almost glued to the screen.
"I will definitely find you Alice, you are only mine"
He said putting a hand to his trembling heart as sparks flew past his eyes. The legend of a nobody was about to be born.
