As the Oro Jackson sailed closer to Yukiryu Island, the tension amongst the crew grew nervous. The giant silhouette that Draco had spotted earlier now loomed even larger on the horizon. It was unmistakable—a giant from Elbaf, standing tall with a menacing presence that sent ripples of unease through the Roger Pirates.
Draco stood at the railing, his sharp eyes scanning the figure. He could see the intricate markings of an ancient Elbaf warrior, the giant's massive frame covered in furs and armor. The winds was the only thing that sounded around them, but the crew's attention was solely focused on the giant, who stood unmoving, watching as the Oro Jackson approached.
"Oi, what the hell is that!?" Shanks, his voice still high-pitched with youth, shouted as he rushed out of the ship's interior. Buggy was right behind him, his face pale with shock.
"That's…a giant from Elbaf," Rayleigh said quietly, his eyes narrowing as he studied the figure.
As the ship drew closer, the giant raised his massive hand. The crew tensed, ready for anything. The wind picked up, and then, with a what sounded like ice cracking grew from the giant's hand, the giant thrust his hand forward. A massive, dragon-shaped creature made of ice shot from his palm, roaring as it soared toward the Oro Jackson.
Draco's eyes widened in shock. "What the... Aokiji's fruit?" He thought, confused. He was certain that Kuzan, the future Marine Admiral, had already obtained the Ice-Ice Fruit. But this giant seemed to wield the power with terrifying precision.
but, before the ice dragon could make contact, Rayleigh leapt from the deck with a speed that left even Draco in awe. In an instant, Rayleigh's sword flashed through the air, cutting through the ice dragon with such ease that it seemed like child's play. The frozen beast shattered into a thousand shards, which fell harmlessly into the sea.
The crew let out a collective sigh of relief, but the danger was far from over.
The giant, showing no sign of surprise, held firm. With a grunt, he swung his massive fist toward the Oro Jackson, the sheer force of his movement causing the wind to howl louder. The crew scrambled to react as the giant's fist hurtled toward them.
Buggy screamed, his voice filled with panic. "We're gonna die! We're gonna die!!"
But before the fist could crush the ship, Douglass Bullet, who had been quietly leaning against the railing with an unsettling smirk, made his move. With a single leap, Bullet launched himself from the ship toward the giant, his body a blur of raw power and Haki. The size difference between Bullet and the giant was staggering, but it didn't matter.
With his Haki surging, Douglass Bullet met the giant's fist head-on. His punch landed with such force that the giant was sent skidding backward, the ground beneath his massive feet cracking as he was pushed deeper into the island.
Bullet hovered in the air for a moment, using Geppo to stay above. His eyes gleamed with excitement as he laughed maniacally, clearly thrilled by the challenge. Without hesitation, he powered toward the giant again, his fists crackling with Haki as he prepared for another clash.
The crew watched in awe as Bullet and the giant engaged in a fierce battle, their punches causing shockwaves that reverberated across the island. Trees were uprooted, and the island trembled with each blow exchanged. Roger and Rayleigh watched from the ship, both observing the fight closely.
"Looks like Bullet's got the upper hand," Rayleigh remarked, his tone casual despite the chaos unfolding before them.
Roger grinned, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Heahahaha! That giant's no pushover, but Bullet's Haki is overwhelming him"
As the fight raged on, the temperature around the ship began to drop drastically as the ship got closer to the shore. Draco, still leaning against the railing, felt the chill in the air and glanced down at his bottle of beer. It had frozen solid in his hand. The cold was seeping from the island itself, an unnatural frost that seemed to emanate from the core of the land.
"The island's freezing over," Draco muttered to himself, his breath visible in the frosty air.
The battle between Bullet and the giant raged for hours, neither side willing to give an inch. The crew of the Oro Jackson watched in silence as the two titans clashed, their fists creating craters in the ground and sending shockwaves across the landscape.
By the next day, the island was still shaking from the aftershocks of their fight. Bullet had gained the upper hand, his relentless attacks wearing down the giant, who had fought fiercely at first but was now slowing under the pressure. The giant's movements became sluggish, and it was only a matter of time before Bullet would overpower him completely.
Draco, unbothered by the chaos, decided that the fight was no longer worth watching. With a casual yawn, he leaped from the ship's deck, landing softly on the island's frozen surface. The cold didn't bother him much. His sandals crunched through the snow as he wandered deeper into the island, leaving the fierce battle behind.
He wasn't interested in the outcome. Instead, his curiosity about the island and its secrets drove him forward. The freezing landscape felt strangely familiar to him, Drum Island, where Chopper was, a great doctor and a lovable person/animal.
Draco's mind wandered as he explored the island, thinking back to how none of Roger's pirates had noticed the other five individuals hiding on the cliff near the shore. He could guess though, that it was a devil fruit, most likely some sort of fruit like Calm-Calm no mi that blocked out observation Haki.
As he continued to walk, Draco used his keen sensing ability to feel his surroundings, finding a small crack under where he was currently standing, something far more intriguing than the giant or the fight that raged behind him was found. His eyes narrowed as he ripped open the crack on the ground. There was now a deep hole that connected to a ravine under the island.
Draco grinned, 'finally something more interesting!'
[Battle at the shore]
And this time, Bullet with all his will took his chance to do a final attack. The giant from Elbaf, completely sluggish from the ongoing battle falls to the ground. Bullet leaps up in the air before diving into the giant's waist.
{BULLET DROP!!!}
"Ting!!!", the sound of sword clashing against Douglass Bullet's armament Haki
{TRUE TWIN CUT}
But before the attack could reach the giant, two figures jumped out of the trees and swung their blades up towards a bullet attack, stopping the momentum and clashing with the Bullet's momentum. The clash sent ripples in the air, and the attack sent the Bullet flying toward the Oro Jackson after its momentum had been stopped.
