It was a normal training day for the trio. They were out in the training grounds where Ciel was teaching them how to better control their Alm.
"You guys are doing it wrong. Listen to me and just do as I do."
Ciel was showing his sister and the newly named boy, Astra.
Time went on, he kept repeating the same thing. Reprimanding both of them and saying they were doing it wrong.
"I'll show you guys one more time. Try to follow along this time."
He put his hands on both of their backs and released a specific flow of Alm into their bodies.
"Now, try it again."
As they grunted from the harsh training, they continued to do their best.
"Hello, young master Ciel." Said a man wearing a fine suit with a longsword on his back.
"I'm busy, please come here another time."
"Oho... I'm here to inform you that I will be your new teacher starting today. I came to introduce myself."
Ciel stopped channeling his Alm into Cece and Astra and turned around slowly.
Seizing up the man in the suit.
With a big smile on his face, the man politely bowed and greeted Ciel.
"Okay, you have one chance to impress me. If you can't, then I won't accept you as my teacher."
"Understood, young master."
"Alright, you two, it's break time."
"Okay!" Replied Cece with enthusiasm before going to get some water from the maid sitting by the shade waiting for her.
"Will you be okay?" Asked Astra.
"Yeah, don't worry. This won't take long."
When they were both a good distance away, the man in the suit spoke again.
"My name is Allen. I will try my best to impress you, young master."
"Okay, Allen. Good luck."
For Ciel, this was another day where his dad sent someone to try to teach him. However, they had all failed to impress him and were nothing more than riff raff.
Drawing his longsword without a sound, Ciel put up his guard.
He wasn't able to hear the sword being drawn nor the footsteps or breathing of Allen.
With incredible speed, the longsword appeared in front of his face and Ciel reacted by pushing the sword's side and redirecting it into the ground, forcing the soundless weapon to become buried in the concrete.
"You don't seem like much." Spoke Ciel nonchalantly.
Bringing his fist close to Allen's face, Allen smiled.
"I knew you were talented but to react to my soundless movement is astonishing."
Ciel opened his eyes wide and moved back a few steps to dodge the sound slash that he couldn't see or hear, but could sense.
"Not bad. But that's not enough to impress me." With a smile on his face, Ciel got ready to charge.
Rotating midair, he spun and landed a kick on Allen's side where he blocked it with his sword. However, that wasn't enough. The impact of Ciel's kick was unrelenting and pushed Allen to the side by a few yards.
A dark mark of lightning was left on his sword
"Let's keep going." Said Ciel.
Moving incomparably faster than before, Ciel moved in circles around Allen until he punched him in the stomach with his left hand.
But Allen didn't let his speed overpower him, he swung his sword down even if late, along with multiple sound waves made up of Alm to attack Ciel.
Ciel was hit head on and it caused debris and dust to cover him and Allen.
The first to leave the dust cloud was Allen with a grunt and his hand on his stomach. He spat out a bit of blood but he was fine otherwise.
Then lightning sparked within the cloud of dust.
With a flash, Ciel arrived above Allen and kicked down.
Allen was able to react and put his sword up and blocked it with one hand on the blade and the other on the hilt.
Sending sparks flying everywhere. Crushing the concrete with each lightning streak.
Bloodlust began to sprout in both Allen and Ciel.
Allen swung his sword upwards to try and slash Ciel but to no avail.
Ciel landed a distance away from him before channeling lightning through his body and speeding up even more.
Allen began swinging his sword in a rotation that simulated a shield in front of him.
With a thundering sound and the collapse of the concrete floor they used for training, Ciel launched himself into the shield of swings. Clashing head on with sound waves and a steel sword that withstood his full-blown charge. Clashing fist to sword.
With a single thought in his head, Ciel deemed this man dangerous.
Unsure if he would be able to take him down, Ciel backed up with bloodlust pouring out.
He raised his right hand up in the air and sparks began to come out of his hand. With a single thought in his head, Ciel decided to get rid of him.
"Woah, now. Young master, was I unable to impress you?" Said Allen.
With a slow reaction, Ciel responded.
"You did fine."
Putting his hand down, he moved toward his sister while talking.
"Come back tomorrow."
"Yes, young master." With a ragged look on his face and his messed up suit, he backed away and left.
However, before he turned to leave, he looked up at the sky and saw the dark clouds parting. With chills running down his spine. He felt he would have needed to sacrifice an arm if they had continued. The power to control nature itself. A walking natural disaster. That's how he evaluated Ciel before leaving and thinking to himself.
He needed to report back to Ceasar before he could do anything else. He felt betrayed by Ceasar for not telling him how strong his son really was. He had almost gotten heavily injured over a simple teaching job.
He was smiling all the while. A capable student. He thought to himself. Knowing that he would train the next generation.
"I will have to try harder to not be fired in the future." He said as he laughed.
Bloodlust was still shooting out of Ciel. Astra moved closer to him and spoke in a worried tone.
"Hey, is everything okay?"
Ciel didn't look away from the man who was walking away and responded.
"Yeah. Let's get back to training."
"But the ground is all messed up." Said Cece from the little canopy where she was sitting.
Ciel looked down and saw the destruction he had caused.
"Alright. We'll call it here for today."
"Yay!" Cece cheered as she ran back to her room to look at all her animals.
"Let's go back for now, Astra."
They followed behind Cece and made their way to her room. They could hear the sounds of different creatures and Cece happily talking to them as they walked.
In a slight moment of hesitation by Ciel, he overlooked the fact that Astra had been displaying dangerously large amounts of bloodlust in Allen's direction. Unknown to Ciel, Astra had already made him an enemy to get rid of. He needed to work harder. As they walked, he envisioned his power being used by the bow. He had been mentally training whenever he had the chance. He needed to improve. To repay the kindness he was given. And he knew one thing about Ciel. Perhaps the most important thing about Ciel, he thought. His sister. She meant the world to him. If there are powerful people like Allen around, he will need to get stronger.
"What are you lost in thought for?" Asked Ciel.
"I'm image training."
"Stop that, do it before bed."
"Ciel! Screamed Cece.
"Look! I made this last night!"
Cece handed Ciel small ornamented knuckle guards. They looked like jewelry that women often wear to show off their pretty hands. However, Ciel noticed that they were actually filled with Alm. This was an artifact.
"What does it do?"
"It amplifies my power."
"Let's test it out."
