"You talentless and useless bastard, you cheated. What kind of enhancement did you take!!?" she spoke as her pale skin puffed up and became a beet red. Elliot stood in place with a look of annoyance.
"Mother I am afraid you are mistaken, I did not cheat and I did not enhance myself by any means. I was simply stronger than my brother." Elliot turned as the words he uttered left his mouth as daggers which seemed to threaten his mother. Siria grit her teeth in frustration and stormed of in the opposite direction of where Elliot was headed. A little while later Elliot was seated in his room legs crossed examining his [Status Window]. He was in the middle of brainstorming his course of action for the four months until the enlistment. "So [Accelerate] evolved into [Lightspeed] after my little stunt of stacking it. I thought it wouldn't work." Elliot chuckled to himself as stared at the bright yellow system window. "Time to start preparing for the exam."

Four Months Later
A few hours before his departure Elliot was in the training hall. He had just finished training and was cooling down from his recent activity. His body was steaming as the mana seeping from his body evaporated it into vapor giving him a somewhat unapproachable presence. "Foooo... I think i went a little too hard today." Elliot stood leaning on this worn down sword as he stared at the system window.

"My time spent training did not go to waste it seems, It took a while to level up [Lightspeed] though." Elliot sighed to himself as he began moving towards his quarters for a bath before his departure. He walked pass several of the Mansions attendants wo ogled his shirtless back as h made his way out or the hall.
"When did Young Master become so toned... He's... so dashing." A female attendant stated to another in lustful tone.
"What ewww stop it and lets get back to work." The other replied to her fellow servants statement with a look of disappointment. "How tactless."
Elliot overheard the two ladies conversation but shrugged it off. A couple hours later Elliot had packed his necessities for his departure and was slowly trailing behind Emily who carried his bag to a carriage a which shone golden as the rays from the sun reflected the golden hue from its linings. Sirius was standing at the houses main door holding a sword whose colour was that of deep space, void of surface which could reflect light. It's handle was wrapped in split grain leather providing a stable and tight grip. "Elliot, my son it seems it is time for you departure. Luckily I wasn't late, here sword forged the continents famous blacksmith, Verdant Viper.
"Verdant Viper?!! Father isn't that one of the Lesser Fate Swords!!" Elliot exclaimed staring a the sword. " I can't have this father I am unworthy." He stood before his father placing the sword which was handed to him back to his father.
"Unworthy! How foolish, if you were truly unworthy you would not be taking the enlistment exam." Sirius shoved to the blade back at him sending him skating a few meters from him. "Take the blade and make the Rue Household proud." Sirius bellowed as his statement took root in Elliot's mind.
"I will not father, I WILL BE THE BEST." Elliot released his mana in return which created a smirk on his father's face. "Do not disappoint me." I won't father, Elliot murmured as he turned away and entered the carriage.

After a few boring hours later Elliot had arrived at the Academy, he stepped out of the carriage in a daze for he had just finished scouring his mind for useful information that would help in the upcoming enlistment exam given he had not thought of doing so. As he walked through the gates of well built structure he was struck with a colorful array of colors as many nobles were dressed in sparkling suits and others in armor. He came to stop with luggage at hand where a majority of the people were. " Do you all think this is some playground you insufferable fools!" A loud roar came from inside the Academy silencing the noisy chatter that had ensued. " Look here you little pieces of shit this ain't no place to frolic like a bunch of fawns, this is an academy built to train knights to protect the Empire. Do you understand?" A tall, built man descended from the top of the Academy landing directly before the children. "My name is Kal Fullbright, the Headmaster of the establishment you will be staying for the next 5 years. Many of you must be wondering what the exam you are supposed to take was about. For starters everyone give you bags to the instructors coming to you shortly." A few awkward minutes of silence passed, and like the wind Instructors appeared from the shadows collecting the luggage and disappearing. " Now that is out of the way. FIGHT!!" The Headmaster vanished and appeared in a room where the instructors who had appeared previously stood as he took a seat in front a large screen that viewed the enlistees. Elliot stood his ground watching the rest take careful glances at each other. Not too long after the sound of a fist colliding with a face became more distinct as more people started gaining courage. Elliot retreated to the corner of the yard carefully observing his surrounds while knocking a few unconscious.
"Lets watch first." He thought, watching the previously calm atmosphere get corrupted. A few minutes passed and not one participant was down aside from the ones he knocked out before. "They're all weak, except those three." He stared off at the frequent explosions across from him." A short black haired female standing with another girl held by her neck, her blue eyes a direct contrast to her hair. A tanned man with platinum blonde hair laughing maniacally as his very presence instilled fear in generic looking group of boys, and the last a tall girl whose curves were gracefully protected by a jacket and short skirt with thigh high socks, her sky blue hair nestled over her shoulders. She stood in a nest of ice as a few enlistees were trapped in this ice prison.
