'crack!!'. " wow! It cracked? Turns out it was an egg" Vanya said with a look of suprise yet acceptance. "what do you think the creature would be? hmmm" she asks Gale "oh well, doesn't matter. I have to get to school to tutor that big and awful brat. How can someone who is already eighteen act like they are five? Well,I guess her parents don't mind she is healthy after all unlike me....."she says with a self depreciating look and countenance "pah!" suddenly she slapped herself " what's the use of me sulking? It's not we all have the same destinies and lives. I was destined to die. Though I don't want to.... I feel so frustrated I don't think I should be feeling this way at my age" " then again, I shouldn't be doing and feeling a lot off things which I already am experiencing at this age. Enough with the prep talk! Let's get to work " she said and carefully wrapped the egg with a handkerchief and put it inside the pocket of her faded jacket then she went ahead with her work. But it was obvious she was curious as to why it was taking an egg to finish hatching though it was clear that the egg was no ordinary egg. And so, she carried on with her day's job.
*******SUNDAY EVENING*********
"wheww.... Finally! I'm done for the day though it is taking a huge toll on my body. I wouldn't even be surprised if I died because of all these....sigh my parents are the worst right Gale? Though I don't blame them nor can I blame myself, I didn't ask to be born this way. I'm just glad they have my little sister Veronica. I think." Vanya said. With her eyes looking around her" I guess I should be grateful they left me here in this cottage and Dad still sends me some money for my upkeep " " even though he knows I would only barely survive on that.....oh yeah! Where did I put that egg?" Vanya thought as she just remembered the event that took place earlier today.
She reaches into the pocket of her coat to bring out the egg which she assumed must have already hatched when she heard a voice " you insolent humans!!!, after waking up from my slumber I don't even get to receive any greetings from my subje-" the voice stopped seemingly just realizing something "what is this place? And where are my loyal vassals and subjects? Don't tell me we lost the war.... whimpers.... But victory was already certain. I made sure of that so where did it go wrong? How?"
