Chapter 32. Seven Cups of Milk Tea a Day

---

Today, returning to the Uchiha clan grounds.

The Uchiha clan had yet to be forced to relocate to a remote area, so the grounds were still extensive—almost like a village within the village. Konoha's three major clans—Uchiha, Hyuga, and Senju—all lived in this village-within-a-village style due to their numerous members.

However, later on…

The Senju clan disappeared for various reasons, leaving a bunch of empty houses. If Tsunade hadn't sold them off later… she could have become a landlady by Boruto's time. Unlike the Uchiha… whose properties were confiscated, leaving the sole Uchiha heir saddled with a mortgage.

So…

What a prodigal son!

A prodigal son with no skills to show for it, making Yuto feel like smacking his older brother's kid every time he saw him! Was there no better way to resolve things?

Killing Danzo and leaving the village would have been better than wiping out the entire clan.

As for the Sarutobi clan… they truly stood out during the Fourth Great Ninja War, even more so than the last of the noble clans—the Hyuga family!

The more he thought about it, the more annoyed Yuto became, especially when looking at this little two-year-old brat.

Why start as a ninja at such a young age?

Is that really your calling?

Yuto squinted slightly, smiling kindly as he said, "Itachi! Children should eat plenty of food. At least seven cups of milk tea, six bags of chips, and five hamburgers a day! Here, take these new snacks from the shop—don't hold back. I'll have someone deliver them to you daily. Just look at you… you've already lost so much weight."

"Thank you… Uncle," replied a still-innocent, unscarred Itachi, nodding as Yuto pinched his cheeks.

All he knew was that Uncle Yuto brought him lots of tasty treats.

There was just… a bit too much!

Little did he know how sinister the world is. Some people just like to make others eat, eat, eat, thinking that if you gain weight, then they must be getting thinner!

How sinister!

Meanwhile…

Uchiha Fugaku, who'd been ignored, raised an eyebrow, saying calmly, "The Uchiha clan is not the Akimichi clan!"

After all… even an Akimichi child wouldn't eat that much at one or two years old!

What, were they trying to raise him as a pig?

The Akimichi clan can consume that much food because they can use their secret techniques to store it as energy, ready to unleash terrifying power at a moment's notice with the right pills and skills!

So…

Fugaku, arms crossed, looked at Itachi with the stern face of a father. "To become a great ninja, you must eat properly!"

"I understand!" Itachi replied seriously, like a little adult, "Father!"

No wonder he grasped the meaning of peace by four and was praised for his Hokage-level mindset by six… Boys maturing too early can be problematic!

"Brother, that's outdated thinking," Yuto said sternly, looking at Fugaku with heartfelt conviction. "We focus on relaxed education now, letting children develop freely. And here you are… denying him a bit of junk food. Brother, the more you hold back, the more likely issues will arise. How about letting me, your younger brother, handle it?" He patted Itachi's back, smiling benevolently, "I guarantee I'll raise my nephew to be a pillar of the Uchiha clan!"

With that…

"Heh." Fugaku gave a dismissive scoff, a hint of disdain on his expressionless face, but he said nothing more.

As for relaxed education…

This is the ninja world!

It's kill or be killed here; to enjoy freedom, you need great strength. Otherwise… the only path is death!

He took a small sip of hot tea, casting a quiet glance at his misguided younger brother, and said nothing more.

So what if you have more money?

In the end, you're still at the mercy of others, aren't you?

Unfazed, Yuto handed Itachi a cup of milk tea and watched him drink with a smile.

Since Itachi was still just a child, and with his uncle's kind smile and father's silent approval, he started drinking the milk tea.

It was actually pretty tasty.

Except his father wouldn't let him drink it all the time.

And the chips and hamburgers tasted pretty good, too.

The little guy nibbled away like a little prairie dog, yet unlike other kids, he didn't make a mess. He was actually very neat.

Unlike that guy Obito… who still ate like a kid.

Recalling Obito's antics from the other day, Yuto's mouth twitched.

Uchiha Obito.

A real daredevil!

Rumor had it that Kakashi and Guy were still in the hospital.

Estimating it was about time, Uchiha Yuto stood up, glanced at Suzune, who was chatting with Mikoto, and said, "It's getting late. We should be heading back."

At that, Fugaku put down his teacup, his usually stoic face furrowing slightly as he looked at Yuto. "There's a clan meeting tonight. You're not going to participate?"

"Nope! I've already been kicked out of the Uchiha clan, so what's the point of attending the Uchiha clan meeting?" Yuto chuckled. "Besides, a bonfire gathering isn't that exciting—I'd rather not join in."

Every year, the Uchiha held a clan meeting to strengthen the bonds among family members. Typically, they would honor the ancestors, do a little dance, boast a bit, and the Uchiha clan's dance was actually quite fascinating to watch.

Truly impressive!

Of course, as time went on…

After the Nine-Tails incident sparked tension, the meetings gradually turned into venting sessions with everyone grumbling about the Third Hokage.

But not quite to that point yet.

During the Third Great Ninja War,

The Uchiha were still… the Uchiha!

A prestigious clan of Konoha!

Other prominent clans also held similar festivals. For instance, the Hyuga clan… Suzune mentioned that they held regular clan gatherings and that the main Hyuga family would even have a grand celebration for a child's third birthday—a significant event where nothing would interfere.

At that, Fugaku let out another cold huff but said nothing more, sipping his tea in silence.

Mikoto, on the other hand, gave a gentle smile and asked, "Why don't you stay for dinner?"

"No thanks," Yuto replied cheerfully, shaking his head.

He was just here to sit for a while.

Then, as he and Suzune said their goodbyes and were about to leave, Yuto suddenly thought of something. He stopped, pulled out a stack of money, and handed it to Itachi, who looked puzzled. "Here! Take this! It's some pocket money from your uncle. Buy whatever you want—don't worry about your dad!"

"…"

This guy…

Fugaku's eyebrow twitched, and he let out a cold huff. "Get out of here!"

"Alright, I am leaving! And Brother, don't keep that frown on your face all the time—it's bad for your health. If you're ever feeling down, let me know. Next time, I'll take you out for some fun!"

"…"

Who'd even want to go to a place like that?

Fugaku watched as Yuto slipped out, then, with a blank expression, shook his head in exasperation, muttering, "This rascal." He gave Mikoto a knowing look.

Mikoto smiled, understanding, then walked over to Itachi, who was still looking at the money in his hand. She gently patted his head and said softly, "Itachi, you're still young…

…

On the other side…

As they left the clan leader's quarters, Yuto and Suzune continued walking, with people along the way greeting him as "Yuto-sama!" The recognition was genuinely pleasant to hear.

Though he had been cast out of the Uchiha clan, as the wealthy younger brother of the current clan leader, he still held quite a bit of respect within the clan.

But then…

Shortly after they'd left, Yuto suddenly paused, pulling Suzune to a stop as well. He smiled at the elderly, hunched figure in front of him. "Second Elder, did you need something from me?"
