The Divine Luminescence.
A sacred blessing bestowed exclusively upon the three heroes of Light, Life, and Law, setting them apart from all other champions.
While other champions of gods and goddesses received blessings of their own—some even more potent than Divine Luminescence—there were reasons why their legacies paled in comparison.
First, these champions were incredibly rare, with their emergence considered a miracle, occurring perhaps once in several eras. In contrast, the three heroes were mandated by divine decree, their existence ensured in every era.
Second, lacking the Divine Luminescence rendered other champions ineffective in the battle against the Demon God, a foe that only the light of this divine blessing could weaken.
Third, the more powerful gods and goddesses often didn't require a champion to uphold their faith, resulting in fewer established churches or platforms to cultivate their influence.
This exclusivity was also the foundation of the three churches' dominance—Light, Life, and Law rose to unparalleled heights, bolstered by their champions and the cultivation of six deities in unison.
With limitless resources at their disposal, they stood proudly as one of the eight supreme powers of the realms.
So, while a hero or heroine is typically granted a suite of blessings, including a Jobclass, skills, spells, and other abilities, the heroes of Light, Life, and Law are uniquely gifted with an additional boon—the Divine Luminescence.
This extraordinary blessing serves as the bane of the Nethersea Nexuses, mysterious entities that act as focal points of the Temporal Nethersea.
Though the Divine Luminescence holds no power against anything beyond these entities, its potency in this singular domain is sufficient for the three heroes to be revered and nurtured with unparalleled resources and divine favor.
Each hero or heroine chosen to serve the three goddesses is bestowed with a unique Divine Luminescence rule, each tied to their predecessor and their connection to their respective goddess. These rules are specifically effective against entities tied to the Temporal Nethersea.
Lucas Vaylwind, the Hero of Light, wields the Divine Luminescence rule:
"Catenæ Lucis Divinæ" – a divine binding principle. This rule allows Lucas to bind creatures of the Temporal Nethersea with chains of radiant light, restricting their movement and power.
Sylas Sylvannis, the Hero of Life, possesses the Divine Luminescence rule:
"Zonarium Aeternum Veritas" – the zonal prison of eternity principle. Sylas can trap Temporal Nethersea entities within a spatial zone, effectively immobilizing them within an eternal prison.
Alestia Valthorne, the Heroine of Law, holds the Divine Luminescence rule:
"Luxorimma Malfera Obscuritas" – the ultima cleansing principle. This rule allows Alestia to purify and eradicate Temporal Nethersea creatures, dissolving their presence in the world with cleansing light.
Each rule reflects not only their divine connection but their specific role in the battle against the most dangerous threats in the realm, particularly the forces tied to darkness, corruption, and chaos.
These Divine Luminescence rules are exclusively effective against Temporal Nethersea creatures, offering little to no effect against other beings or forces in the world.
The news of the Demon God possessing a quasi-soul sent shockwaves through the three churches, and for good reason. The Demon God, as the Apex Nexus of the Temporal Nethersea, was already a being immune to nearly all forms of spells, attacks, and seals—its very existence made it impervious to most conventional methods of combat.
Now, with the addition of a quasi-soul, the situation had grown far more dire. The quasi-soul, a fragment of immense power yet not fully anchored in the realm of flesh or spirit, was a completely different entity from the Temporal Nethersea nexus.
It was this quasi-soul that imbued the Demon God with even greater strength, as it was unaffected by the Divine Luminescence rules bestowed upon the heroes.
The Divine Luminescence, designed to target and restrain the nexus points of the Temporal Nethersea, would have no impact on this quasi-soul, leaving the heroes vulnerable to an even stronger and more unpredictable force.
The Divine Luminescence, akin to powerful symbolic decorations, was a great tool—but in this case, it was rendered almost useless against the Demon God's new form. While the heroes still carried their other blessings, the weight of this new revelation threatened to shift the balance in favor of the Demon God, leaving the three churches scrambling for a solution they feared they may not find in time.
But everything changed when the Tyrant Overlord, the Hero of Warcraft, entered the equation.
Like a miracle, he emerged from the shadows, his presence alone bringing a sense of relief to the panic-stricken churches.
Without a word or hesitation, he aligned himself with the cause, easing the nerves of the gods and their followers.
He, too, was a hero associated with the Holy Tritan Temple, a rare occurrence in itself, as heroes outside the three goddesses were almost unheard of.
But what truly set him apart from the other champions was the Divine Luminescence he carried—or rather, it was something beyond it.
His power was not just a blessing; it was a transcendent evolution of the Divine Luminescence itself: the Transcendent Solace.
Where the Divine Luminescence bound and restrained the entities of the Temporal Nethersea, the Transcendent Solace was a force even more refined, an enhanced divine essence capable of acting on a higher level of reality.
It could neutralize not just the nexus points of the Temporal Nethersea but also the quasi-souls of beings like the Demon God.
This made the Tyrant Overlord an invaluable asset, one who could challenge the Demon God's newfound strength with an overwhelming divine force that even the Demon God's quasi-soul could not resist.
His emergence signaled a shift in the tide of battle, for the Transcendent Solace held the potential to turn the impossible into a mere obstacle to be overcome.
And so, without any suspense or further resistance, the Grand Overlord, the Hero of Warcraft, defeated, annihilated, and exorcised the Demon God, standing victorious before the world.
His power shattered the very essence of the demon's existence, leaving nothing behind but echoes of its downfall.
With the battle won, the other heroes were revived, the remaining demons slaughtered, and peace was momentarily restored.
The Tyrant Overlord, alongside his allies, returned to the Holy Tritan Temple like a king who had conquered the world. His return was nothing short of legendary, greeted by cheers and praises from all corners of the realms.
It became a tale shared by every child in their youth—a story of hope, courage, and unyielding determination. It was a source of inspiration, fueling the hearts of every youth aspiring to rise and conquer their own challenges.
Selene's voice echoed in the air,"And that hero, the Tyrant Overlord, the Hero of Warcraft, the master of grand might, is none other than my master, the deity, Zephiron Eryndor Arcelius."
