Caspian's Point of View
Arriving back at the Drakovian castle felt strange. The towering stone walls, the familiar archways, and the grand spires that pierced the sky should have felt like home, but everything seemed different now. It was as if the events in Arcanthia had changed more than just the places we had been; they had changed something inside me too. I was both relieved and anxious to be back. Home wasn't just a place anymore; it was a question, a test of what we were becoming.
As we stepped into the grand entryway, I saw Dakari waiting for me, bouncing on the balls of his feet. His face lit up when he saw me, and he ran over, nearly knocking me over with the force of his hug. "Caspian!" he shouted, his voice bright with excitement. I hugged him back, feeling a warmth in my chest that I hadn't realized I was missing.
"Hey, Dakari," I said, giving him a small smile. "I missed you too."
