Caspian's Point of View
The children's ball was buzzing with excitement. The room was much smaller than the grand ballroom where my parents were, but it was still beautifully decorated. Twinkling fairy lights were strung up around the room, casting a warm, cozy glow over everything. Colorful streamers hung from the ceiling, and balloons floated in clusters at each corner. It felt magical, like a scene out of one of my favorite storybooks.
There were tables covered with all sorts of treats and snacks—tiny sandwiches, pastries, fruits, and even a chocolate fountain that was taller than I was. I watched as some of the other kids dipped strawberries and marshmallows into the flowing chocolate, their faces lighting up with delight as they took a bite.
