The past few years have been filled with moments of reflection, a far cry from the chaotic life we led before peace finally settled over the kingdom. I spent more time with the family, nurturing the relationships that had grown between us and watching our children blossom in their own unique ways. My heart swelled with pride as I saw how each of them had adapted, despite the hardships we'd all faced.
As the morning sun filtered through the tall windows of the castle, casting warm rays across the floor, I found myself in the nursery with Kamari. She was sitting at a low table, her tiny hands delicately setting out her tea set, arranging cups and saucers for her dolls and stuffed animals.
"Mama," Kamari said softly, looking up from her careful arrangement. "Will you join us for tea?"
I smiled, her innocence always a light in my day. "I'd be honored, my little princess."
