CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR
Suddenly, an arrow slammed into Sarah's arm, spinning her around. She cried out in shock and pain, clutching at the arrow shaft. Valerie's eyes widened in horror as she realized what she had done.
The arrow was tipped with a poisonous substance, one that Valerie had been experimenting with. She had forgotten that she had loaded the poisonous arrows into her quiver.
Sarah screamed out in agony and pain, the poison rushing into her body system.
