"Why are you here...?" Asahi whispered
(Flashback)
The dog's owner said, "Hey, no hurting each other." Asahi witnessed some dogs fighting when he was on his way to the school. "I believed there was a fight. The owner is exaggerating things. Asahi witnessed someone trip and fall in front of his school. "Are you alright? Asahi enquired. "I suppose I am. I'm so late! Afterwards, Asahi assisted him in gathering his belongings. "Many thanks. Whoa, hold on! I take it you're the Tanaka Asahi from history class?" asked the person in question. "Yeah," Asahi responded. Asahi had never seen him before. "My name is Takahashi Touma. The best student who is indolent and never stays awake." "Oh, right," Asahi replied. It's no surprise that he recognizes me, Asahi thought to himself. Then Touma sprinted up and yelled, "Friendship! But I'm running late, so not now! Touma stated. "I suppose we could be," Asahi muttered.
What year was the US attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? The history teacher enquired. All Asahi was doing was staring at his desk so he wouldn't be called upon. "Let's see, how about Asa-" "1945!" Fuyutsuki yelled. "You're right. However, kindly raise your hand the next time," the history teacher remarked. She then carried on talking about their lesson. Asahi got to see Fuyutsuki up close. However, Fuyutsuki had already turned to face him. Asahi averted his gaze.
Asahi went to the cafeteria alone himself to eat lunch after class. He treated himself to some Mochi. Next were Akihiko, Fuyutsuki, and Touma. You know that mochi is my favorite food? Happy, Fuyutsuki said. "Not at all. Who are you?" Asahi enquired. "Hey, I'm Fuyutsuki, and we attend the same history class bae! Fuyutsuki stated. "Bae? How on earth is she saying this? In his head, Asahi questioned. Fuyutsuki added, "That man over there, who appears to be a father, is Akihiko." Hey, hold on! I don't appear to be one," Akihiko remarked. "I apologize, but I have to take care of business. Do you need anything?" Asahi enquired. "Can three of us please sit here? In any case, Touma is your friend," Akihiko remarked. "Touma? A friend? Who is it?Asahi muttered. Yes, please do, Asahi said. Together, the four of them ate lunch. Say, why are you unaware of who we are?Fuyutsuki enquired. Asahi answered, "I'm not really that communicative." "How lifeless, jeez. Why don't we make friends then? We four are the best pupils in the academy, to put it mildly," Fuyutsuki remarked. "You three are the top three, is that right?Asahi enquired. "Yes, in short," Touma replied. "Well, I suppose we can," Asahi replied. The four of them then developed a strong friendship and grew quite close. They all received ranks 1-4 in their academy and graduated together. "Hey, what are your plans for future? I mean, school is out now," Akihiko enquired. Asahi declared, "I want to be a spy or a detective and stuff like that." "Me too! All three of them yelled at once. Since we are too young to attend criminology school, how about we form a detective clan and form an alliance with the Tokyo government? Touma enquired. Sure, of course! The three yelled. After Kakusu was established, many people were met, including Ryoichi, Aiko, Nagisa, and Shoto.
Do you have a moment, Asahi? Fuyutsuki enquired. Yes, but why? Asahi answered. Could you accompany me? "I wish to purchase Mochi," Fuyutsuki uttered. Asahi answered, "Yeah, okay." As they strolled towards the shop, Fuyutsuki pinch Asahi's shirt. At a bridge, they came to a stop. Fuyutsuki muttered, "Hey Asahi." "You know, I've wanted to say this for years. You see, I've found that seeing you is like magic, ever since Touma introduced us to you in high school. Fuyutsuki remarked, "It feels like I'm meeting someone for the first time in my life. "Fuyutsuki... Are you making that point? Nevermind, I'll let go," Asahi murmured. Fuyutsuki responded, "Yeah, let's go," with disappointment. Asahi turned around to face Fuyutsuki, who ran up to him and gave him an extremely strong hug. "I know it's improper to fall in love with a friend, but I've liked you from the moment I saw you! I've always wanted to tell you something, but I never knew how. With tears in her eyes, Fuyutsuki yelled. Asahi and Fuyutsuki kissed, making Asahi weak. "I cherish you! Kindly give me your hand in marriage!" Fuyutsuki stated. "You know I feel the same way? I pledge to marry when I'm ready, so don't worry."

You left the clan after that day. Declaring that you would travel abroad for business. However, why are you standing here with that Kaosu logo directly in front of me? Are you even higher up? Asahi enquired. "Look, I'm third look! Second to the top is me! Fuyutsuki exclaimed with pride, but Asahi isn't pleased with that—rather, he's angry. Asahi yelled, "That's the only and worst thing you did to me." "Are you not third as well? You are next to Akihiko, correct? I'm overjoyed! Fuyutsuki proudly stated. Though Asahi doesn't feel the same, her genuine happiness and excitement at seeing Asahi again are evident. "What makes you happy? You betrayal!" Asahi yelled. When Fuyutsuki learned that Asahi was furious, he ran to embrace and kiss him intensely. "I believed you would also be pleased. But you felt like it was the opposite way around," sobbed Fuyutsuki. Fuyutsuki stabbed him in the back as she was giving him a hug. Conversely, though, Asahi followed suit. They were both bleeding now and were immobile. You know, things could have worked out differently. Why did you turn on us? In particular, me?Asahi enquired. "Because they have treated me like a girl and not a woman ever since Shoto and Nagisa entered their lives." They never did it before, yet they treated me like trash. You know, I'm having a hard time deciding whether to go and join Kaosu. You are not the reason, Asahi! Due to you! Only you have ever treated me with the decency that a lady deserves. They, not you, are the reason I departed! Fuyutsuki stated. She then released Asahi. "How about a duel, hey? With this gushing wound in our back, we're running out of time! Happy, Fuyutsuki said. They took off their coats and discarded their katana, grenades, weapons, and karambit. Their three-hour-long combat persisted because they fought like pros and used some wooden sticks from trees.
They both flung the sticks, kissed, and gave each other their final embrace. "I never knew we can endure this wound this long," Asahi said. "I suppose we'll cross paths and marry in a different incarnation, Asahi? Fuyutsuki enquired. At the time, they were both quite frail. Sure, I swear to you. In that other dimension, together and forever. That was when they both passed away peacefully.
