Louisa, arm in arm with Kenneth, walked out of the office, with the director respectfully seeing them off.
"Take care, Mr. and Mrs. Collins."
Once outside, Louisa only saw Chasel. Where was everyone else?
"Where's Rose?" Kenneth asked. "I haven't had a chance to chat with her."
"She's still at her extracurricular activities. She'll be home for dinner after she's done."
"Awesome!" Louisa hadn't expected her daughter, who'd been staying at school for so long, to finally be coming home.
She had been eating and sleeping poorly these past few days, constantly worrying if Rosemary was cold or hungry at school or if she was being bullied.
Kenneth happily said, "Finally, you can sleep peacefully tonight! Because Rose's coming home for dinner, we should ask the kitchen to prepare more of her favorite food, like those Australian prawns from last time."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, and that fish."
