Leo was sitting on top of the ant while it traveled through the forest, followed by an ever-growing swarm that washed over the underbrush. A few hours later, they appeared at the base of an enormous colony.
It was a mount in the middle of the sea of trees which confused him. 'How come I didn't see this thing when I was flying?'
He shrugged and climbed off the monster's back, landing with a heavy thud before striding into the colony. The ants immediately parted to clear a path for him as he got deeper into their home.
The monsters were scurrying out of his way. Leo couldn't help but chuckle at their frantic efforts to avoid him at all costs. Half an hour later, he arrived at a large chamber that was full of dead creatures piled in morbid piles.
