Seven hours later, Commander Kyle, Hazen, Fatty, and Cain wore heavy expressions as they stared at the massive wall. Soldiers patrolled above it, swords hanging at their waists, ready to swing into action if there were an attack.
Hazen and the others hid in the bushes, watching the guards and studying their every move.
"So, Commander, are we going to attack them?" Hazen asked seriously, her eyes still fixed on the guards.
"No, it's better to get in quietly," Commander Kyle said in a low voice, also observing the guards' movements.
"The guard on the left is the slowest to turn. If we're fast enough, we should be able to slip past before he notices. Get ready. I'll go first," Commander Kyle instructed. A few seconds later, he dashed toward the left side of the massive wall. Moving swiftly, he scaled the wall and crossed it, hiding on the other side as he signaled for the others to follow.
