Chapter 2 - Chapter 2:Reborn in a New World

Jason slowly opened his eyes, a warm light filtering through an unfamiliar room. Groggy and disoriented, he sat up, feeling different. His body was small—very small. The bed he lay in was modest, and as he rubbed his hands over his face, the texture felt wrong—softer, smoother. Confused, he stumbled out of bed, his legs wobbly like a child learning to walk.

As he stepped out of the room, the scent of alcohol and tobacco hit his nose. The place was a bar, small but cozy. Behind the counter was a woman, her dark hair tied back, her eyes sharp yet kind. She smiled when she saw him.

"Ah, Jason, you're up early today," she said, her voice soft but strong.

Jason blinked, trying to process what was happening. Before he could respond, an overwhelming pain shot through his head, like a thousand memories rushing in all at once. His mind exploded with images—birthdays, small adventures, and moments of quiet family life. He saw himself running around the bar, practicing with a wooden sword. He saw the woman who just spoke to him holding him, soothing him when he scraped his knee.

And then the realization hit him like a thunderbolt. This woman... she's Shakuyaku!

His heart raced. Shakuyaku, the former pirate and now bar owner from One Piece. Which means...

His eyes widened in shock, and his hands began to tremble. If she's Shakuyaku, then my father must be—

The door to the bar swung open, and a tall man entered. His graying hair and distinctive glasses made him instantly recognizable. Jason's breath caught in his throat.

Silvers D. Rayleigh... my father is the Dark King.

Jason's memories continued flooding in, confirming the truth. He wasn't just in the One Piece world—he had been reborn as the son of two legendary figures. He was Silvers D. Jason, a child of Rayleigh and Shakuyaku. He was no longer the Jason from New York. He was someone with the blood of greatness coursing through his veins.

Despite his shock, he kept his composure. The last four years of memories from his new life filled in the blanks. He was raised in Sabaody Archipelago, where his parents had settled down. His father had retired from piracy, but his stories of the old days were legendary. And his mother, though no longer a pirate herself, still had a powerful presence that commanded respect.

Jason took a deep breath. His body felt different—stronger, faster. Even as a child, he could sense something bubbling beneath the surface, a latent power waiting to be unlocked. His memories of his old life—the wishes granted to him by God—flashed through his mind. He had asked for immense power, ultimate potential, and the body of a conqueror. Now, it was all starting to make sense.

"Are you alright, Jason?" Shakuyaku asked, noticing his silence.

Jason shook his head, trying to clear the fog of memories. "Yeah, Mom. I'm fine," he said, the words feeling both foreign and familiar.

Rayleigh walked up, giving Jason a warm smile. "Good to see you up, kid. How about some sword training today?"

Jason looked at his father, the Dark King himself, offering him sword training. His mind raced. He wasn't just an ordinary kid in this world. He was born with the greatest possible teachers—Rayleigh, one of the most powerful Haki users, and Shakuyaku, a former pirate with an iron will.

But Jason had more than just lineage. His wishes had granted him something beyond even what Rayleigh or Shakuyaku knew.

Inside him was the Treasure Hunting System. As he closed his eyes, he could feel it humming in the back of his mind, ready to guide him to treasures and abilities beyond belief.

But for now, he had to play the part of the young boy, the son of two legendary figures, learning to wield the power he had been granted.

"Yeah, Dad," Jason said, smiling up at Rayleigh. "Let's train."
