Cain's POV:
I, Cain von Flamemore, one of the heroes of the Braveheart Kingdom, never expected to face one of the Demon Warlords this soon. And to make matters worse, it had to be Zorx the Apocalypse Inferno—an enemy whose fire affinity clashed terribly with my Flamemore Swordsmanship, making it much harder to overpower him with brute force.
But that didn't matter. If anything, this was a rare opportunity. A chance to face an opponent this strong... How could I back down now?!
I wanted to go all out against Zorx, but then—those damn underlings of Naoki showed up to "help" me. As if I needed their interference! No matter how much I told them to back off, they stubbornly kept trying to support me.
"Cain-sama, your hand... You can't fight at full strength in this condition."
A boy with golden hair, wearing a matching gold earring and armor, spoke with concern. Judging by his aura, he had to be a descendant of the Starlight Family.
