Chapter 7 - [7]Days Pass By

A/N: Sorry for the late chapter for this week, my teach had his hands wraped around my balls (figuratively) these past weeks.

God I fucking hate chemestry.

Two weesk ago i had a test and i got the highest score, but becuase of that the teach go suspicious of me cheating becuase i get a average of 77% on them, which i did not cheat(Yes i did, his test are imossible to pass, even with studying).

He wanted me to do a retake but i said "no" since i would do it in a room alone with him, exposing myself since i wouldnt be able to complete the test. instead i offered him that i would give him my phone at the start of next test and i would sit on the front. And if i got a passing grade he would give the score i got from the last test.

Well, i did just that this week. Just that i gave him a dummy phone intead of the real one. It was just harder to cheat since i was right infront of him.

hopefully i get a good score so that i dont have to worry about him anymore.

Me and him have beef to settle.

-Meliodas POV/2 Months Later-

"Mhm~" Hummed a soft childish voice beside me, a small pair of hands tugging on the edge of my cape hoping to catch my attention.

As I was sitting on a wooden rocking chair, I looked to my side.

The child's eyes were a light green, matching the green natural highlights of her pink hair. It kinda resembles the colors of a watermelon or Sakura mochi.

"Watcha doing there, Mitsuri" I spoke as I picked up the little girl and placed her on my lap.

"Hair!" She spoke with a cheerfully infectious tone.

"Alright then, sit tight" I told her, she did as I ordered. I began to braid her decently long hair into two separate braids.

It's been about two months since I've picked up these kids.

In the beginning, I had no idea what I was doing at all but....nope, still don't have a single clue. At least I can say that I was trying, but in these situations, "trying" wasn't enough.

Yes, I managed to clean them up by the river and get them something to eat, but I still needed to obtain for them new clothes and other basic necessities.

That's why I began to search for any type of village, or even Mondstat's main city would have been nice so that I would be able to obtain those supplies.

To my luck, I managed to come by a village, one I knew very well.

Springvale.

It's the one single village that was shown in Genshin Impact's open world on Mondstat.

I'm sure there's other villagers around but that's the only one shown in game.

I entered the village, but I was soon intercepted by the villagers. All of them had their weapons drawn at me.

Funny thing actually, THEY THOUGHT I WAS A DAMN FATUI!

And I didn't blame them. My Quincy uniform is modeled after a German military uniform. Quite similar to that of a Fatui aesthetic wise.

And the fact that I had six kids in rags following behind me like chicks following their duck momma didn't help my case.

After calming them down, explaining I wasn't Fatui, and also explaining that I had saved those kids; they all welcomed me with open arms.

They helped me settle down and build a house in the village, and also helped get the kids what they needed.

Some of the elder's villagers even said that I should leave the kids to them since I was too "young" to take care of them, but I refused kindly since I actually NEEDED to raise them. I also wasn't rude about the matter since I could tell that their intentions were genuine.

Apparently, I'm seventeen years old again. Probably because my character model, Izumi Miyamura, was seventeen during the beginning of the anime. In my last life I was 24 and going to a university and doing internships to become a Cardiologist.

Not because I wanted to save lives or some sappy shit like that, no. The job just paid REALLY well. It was either that or becoming a professional soccer player.

But besides that, 2 months have passed and I've gotten pretty comfortable here in the village and with my kids.

Sigh~ but taking care of six of them is quite tiring, good thing they're all 10 years old.

I don't think I would have had the patience and attitude to take care of babies, and six of them at that.

but...there's something wrong with them.

They all have this sort of post-traumatic amnesia.

Apparently, they all lost most of their memories, including a few basic skills like speaking.

After studying and getting a feel of their Reiryoku(Spiritual Energy) a bit, I came to a conclusion.

They lost their memories on purpose.

What they had gone through in their time with the Fatui was so traumatic to them that their minds had created a coping mechanism.

They forgot all their trauma, including who they were before being captured by the Fatui.

Sigh~

It's heartbreaking seeing a bunch of ten year-olds suffering from such strong psychological trauma. But I don't think I can do anything to help them heal besides helping them make new and happy memories, replacing the old and bad ones.

"Annnnnd, there!" I said as I finished braiding her hair.

Mitsuri shook her head side to side, swinging both of her braids side to side while giggling.

Heh, she kinda looks like one of those Mexican toys. I'm talking about that toy were it is a small drum with two strings with beads attached on both ends, and then you shake it side to side to make the stringed up beads hit the drum.

"Hahah alright, alright. Let's go back inside. It's time for dinner" I said as I picked her up from my lap and placed her back on the floor.

The sun was going down, meaning that it was time for dinner.

"Foooood!!!" She shouted happily as she rushed back inside.

Damn, she's cute!

Sitting up from my chair, I also began to walk inside the wooden house.

As I walked inside, I was greeted with the sight of my six kids, all already sitting on the dinning table.

It was a simple rectangular wooden table, with everything else also made of wood.

The first kid on the table was obviously Mitsuri with her light green eyes and watermelon-colored hair.

She was a pretty energetic and happy girl that had a love for eating. She's the reason I'm running out of supplies so soon.

The second kid had purple hair along a pair of deep-golden eyes. His name was Sinbad.

He had an abnormal liking towards shiny stuff. He was quite shy at first, but one he got to know me better, he became quite mischievous.

The third kid was a girl with orange-brownish chestnut hair (strawberry blond in the anime) and hazel eyes. Her name was Asuna.

She's the second smartest out of all of them and extremely stubborn. She enjoyed learning things and playing outside with the others. The only thing is that she's really defensive with people she doesn't know. That part of Asuna makes it hard for her to make friends outside her siblings.

The fourth kid was a girl with light blue hair and blue eye, and surprisingly, her eyelashes were a snowy white. Her name was Esdeath. She likes to watch me when I train with my sword. I'm afraid she's going to grow up a fighting junkie.

The fifth kid was another girl. She had long golden hair and beautiful azure eyes. Her name was Violet. She's the first smartest out of all of them. She's the shyest of them all and the gentlest.

And finally, the sixth kid was a boy. He had long golden hair and golden eyes, his name was Reinhard. He ABSOLUTELY dislikes everyone besides me and his other siblings. He's quite gentle to me but to other people, he's an absolute prick. But besides that, he's pretty talented at all he does. He'll make it far in life.

And yes, I've noticed... they're all anime characters from series that shouldn't be in Genshin Impact or are even related in the smallest bit.

I'm guessing the ROB didn't only just adapt this world to my Quincy powers, but actually sent me into a whole other ffffffffucking Genshin Impact AU (Alternative Universe).

Meaning that my meta-knowledge of Genshin Impact could be absolutely useless.

Well, no use in worrying anymore about that.

I finally finished cooking up my high quality chicken soup. It's some of the stuff Mr.

Duncan gifted me yesterday, I thought I oughta make a good and hearty chicken soup for the kids with it.

"Seems like you've already started dinner" spoke a voice behind me. his accent had a light British influence.

"Ah, Sleipnir. go sit with the kids" I told my trusty steed in human form.

yes, the dark horse that i had rode into battle just a few months ago now had human form.

While I had begun my residency here in Springvale and began to take care of my kids, I had come to a realization.

I'm not built for this...

Yes, I could not do it by myself. Raising one kid might have been manageable, but six of them? id have probably committed suicide.

I could have probably asked for help from my kind neighbors, but i dont trust them enough to do so. Especially when I know so little of this AU Genshin Impact.

And so I kept on thinking of ways of making things easier fro myself. That's when I had remembered that in the game, Odin's horse could take on the form of a silver-haired human.

Luckily enough for me, Sleipnir was able to turn into a human. Now he just helps me around the house and with the kids.

I'd just wish he'd stop calling me "Your Majesty" all the time.

Hmmmm~

Now that I look at my storage, I'm down on supplies.

I got some as gifts from the rest of the villagers like clothes, spices, food, and other useful stuf, but they won't last me long.

And I can't just rely on them the whole time.

It's time I go to the city, get registered at the adventurers guild, and aquire some mora!.

Sigh~ kids are really damn expensive.

"..."

Oh God...I'm job-hunting in another world.
