At this time in the evening, the training centre was miraculously empty as Love stood across from Ezra in the middle of the hall.
Till hung over the barrier at the top of the viewing platform, practically vibrating with excitement.
"Before we begin - " Ezra stepped in front of Love and held his hand out towards her, "Tell me how it feels, as a Dhampir. What do you feel when you fight vampires?"
Love stepped closer and placed his hand against the centre of her chest, "It's here, whenever you touch me or when I'm close to you or another vampire. It feels like...warm energy is swirling around in my chest and I can move it somewhat, to different parts of my body."
Ezra nodded slowly and trailed his hand up to the side of her neck, "But how does it feel? Do you feel fear? Anger? Or is it exhilaration?"
