When they returned to the table, the drinks were in full flow. Till had used Love's momentary absence as a window of opportunity to purchase several rounds of shots and was currently sitting beside Jace, with his hand resting on his thigh.
He had downed both his own cocktail as well as Love's and was in the middle of ordering them all a second round.
"Till, what are you doing?" Love whispered in his ear icily, causing him to flinch at her sudden appearance over his shoulder.
"Argh! Nothing, nothing, just having some fun, Love! Come on sit down, have a drink." He grinned up at her just as the server returned with a new round and Love reluctantly sat down opposite Till eyeing him warily.
