"I knew I had to watch you baby, you are quite a poor judge of character after all. I caught this one trying to call for the police." He pressed the knife a little harder into her cheek and she whimpered in pain, "It seems like they've noticed your fiancée is missing and somebody called her to see if she had seen her." Ren leaned in to whisper in Sophie's ear, his eyes fixed on Ezra who stood frozen at the entrance to her kitchen, "I wonder what you'd do if you knew that he murdered Lynn."
Her eyes widened further and her bottom lip began to tremble, "Th-that's not true, Ezra wouldn't…"
She stared at Ezra whose face had fallen, he averted his eyes from her gaze.
