As Kiran and I were about to cry out, thinking our stubborn friend had been killed by our own hands, a clicking sound interrupted us. We turned toward the noise and saw the beautiful maid standing in our dorm, her cold blue eyes and bored expression unchanged.
"Don't worry he's not dead, he's just entered the second trial"
'The second trial! Already? Damn' "So when we solve our artifact, we'll be sent to the second trial?"
I asked, turning fully towards the maid.
"Phew, thank god, I thought the fool died"
Kiran said wiping his head before looking at the maid fully.
"So what happens in this trial? Gonna tell us something?" Kiran asked his serious expression returning.
"No, that's against the Acadamy rules, now enter the second trial before you lose time" the maid said firmly, her icy voice trailing off as she walked out the room, the door slamming shut behind her.
"She must really like us, don't you think?"
I said nudging Kirans arm with my elbow smirking at him.
Kiran moved his arm away from my nudge with a glare "More likes she hates us, if we were high humans, she'll probably try to get close to us"
"I guess so, let's just enter the second trial"
I picked up my aritifact and spilled my blood on it "Dead end"

"I hope this isn't a waste of my time" Kiran said to himself before doing the same with his artifact and disappearing.

Lucas POV…
My eyes snapped open, my vision a blur as I looked around. I was in a luxurious. I sat up slightly and took my surroundings in more clearly. The bed beneath me was massive and the room was large and had high quality furniture. Large wardrobes, with a large mirror at the centre, and a decent sized sofa in the cornor.
"Where the fuck am I!"
I said out loud panic coursed through me as I hopped out of my bed and looked around, frantically, something, anything, to give me an answer to what's going on.
I then ran infront of the mirror 'God damn, is that me? Why do I look so… handsome' I began to check myself out in the mirror. I am taller and more muscular, my blonde hair is well styled, I look myself but more… older. Damn.
Shaking my head, trying to clear the thoughts of how charming I looked, I glanced at my clothes, A luxurious black robe and leather slippers 'Wait did I go asleep with slippers on… I must've been very tired because that's very unlike me'
I then continued to look around my room 'Wardrobe filled with many clothes, as expected of me' I then came upon a bell near my bed and slapped it with a chuckle the bell ringing echoed throughout the room.
Then a knock was heard, I turned towards the door and took a step back.
"C…come in" i said a bit apprehensive, my voice deeper and more commanding than before.
The door opened revealing a cute woman, green shoulder length hair and blue eyes, she was up to my shoulder in height and wore a formal green dress that matched her delicate features and green hair well.
"Your majesty, you needed me?" Her calm, sweet voice reached my ears and I couldn't help but smile at such cuteness before I regained my composure.
"What are my plans for today?" i asked firmly as i looked into her eyes but inwardly my emotions were swirling with panic and confusion 'Who the hell is she and majesty? Me?'
She looked up at me her face tilted slightly before nodding and moving her eyes away "Umm my lord, we talked about this yesterday, we have a meeting with the generals and other advisors, about the monsters that are coming to invade our kingdom"
I looked at her with wide and shocked eyes… 'The what invasion!!??'
