Chapter 35 - Thanks for the Ride

Landing on the other side of the gap, I assessed how far away I was from my target. I'd say about twenty rooftops. It made sense. The abductor had quite a lead on me.

I think the fact that they were carrying another human with them was the reason they weren't much farther away than that. I was surprised they were able to jump these gaps while holding another person. A normal human couldn't do something like that.

I sped up my run to about as fast as I could run while not over jumping buildings and falling through the next gap. After a few minutes I caught sight of my prey.

It was a man in black carrying a woman dressed in white. She appeared to be unconscious. Just as I was a few buildings away, they dropped down into an alley.
