"So, again, what is this about?" My mother said while sipping her coffee.
"Yeah, so, I need you to teach me more cultivation stuff and I need you to teach my girlfriends cultivation stuff. At least the ones who can do it. And I need it fast. The European Vampire Association and all the other branches as well are going to be on my ass I don't know when," I said.
"I see. That's certainly a problem. I can help you all learn to cultivate, but I can't fight your battles for you. I mean, I literally can't. If I did, I would disappear," she said.
"I know. I don't need you to do that. I just need the training," I said.
"That I can and will do," she said. "When?"
"As soon as we're done eating," I said.
"I was just going to drink this coffee," she said. "I don't need food to sustain my existence. Technically, you don't either. Just blood. But you don't drink enough of it. That's why you get hungry still."
