Ronan glowered
Why was she so damn fond of his Lycan half over him?
Was she disappointed that the mangy beast was not the one in control?
"Does it matter which of us is in control?" Ronan asked through gritted teeth, his hand tightening ever so slightly on the side of her waist.
"I was just wondering because you are saying things that only he says usually," Vivian answered earnestly, still searching deeper to discover even the slightest semblance of a gold glow in Ronan's eyes, yet there were none. "So I thought he was out."
It would be ridiculous for him to become enraged by her assumption. After all, it was his Lycan half who provided the affections of a mate that he was cowardly enough to evade.
Naturally, she was more charmed by the beast.
And although he was adamant about her maintaining her distance from his Lycan, he'd begun to wonder if releasing the beast would do anything to restore peace to Vivian's mind.
