Chapter 53 - [53] Yacht party

The next morning, we boarded the yacht—an absolute beast of a boat, sleek and modern, with polished white decks and all the luxuries you'd expect when hanging out with the Reed sisters. As I stepped onto the deck, I couldn't help but marvel at the sheer size of the thing. It wasn't just a boat—it was a floating mansion. Several staff members greeted us as we climbed aboard, already busy making sure everything was perfect.

Vanessa had planned the day as a relaxing getaway after the previous night's family reunion, and I was more than ready to unwind. The weather was perfect—clear skies, the ocean calm, and the sun beaming down on us.

The girls had disappeared into the lower deck to change into their bikinis while I stayed up top, sipping on a cold drink that one of the staff had handed me as soon as I sat down. It was surreal, being here, on a private yacht, with three incredibly wealthy women. I still wasn't sure if I belonged in their world, but damn, it was hard to complain about moments like this.

A few minutes later, Vanessa, Alessa, and Bella came back up onto the deck, and I couldn't help but stare for a second, completely taken aback by how stunning they all looked.

Vanessa was, as always, breathtaking. She wore a black string bikini that contrasted beautifully against her flawless olive skin. The top was a little daring, perfectly framing her curvaceous figure and showing off just enough to make it clear she was fully confident in her body. The bottoms were high-cut, accentuating her long legs and toned figure. Her dark, wavy hair cascaded over her shoulders, and she had a pair of oversized sunglasses perched on her nose, adding to the look of effortless glamour she always carried with her. Even here, in the middle of the ocean, she looked like she could be on the cover of a magazine.

Alessa, on the other hand, was sporting a red bandeau bikini that matched her fiery personality. The top was simple and sleek, but it hugged her modest breasts perfectly, showing off her athletic, toned body. She had always been the more intense of the sisters, and it showed in her physique—strong, defined abs, powerful legs, and a confidence that radiated from her. Her dark brown hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail, and her sharp hazel eyes scanned the deck as she made her way to one of the loungers. Even in a bikini, Alessa exuded authority.

Then there was Bella, who had the most playful, carefree look of the three. She wore a floral bikini, the top tied around her neck, accentuating her huge melons with a little more bounce than her sisters' choices. The bottoms were low-rise, showing off her curvier figure in a way that was both cute and sexy. Bella's long, auburn hair was loose and wavy, her green eyes sparkling in the sunlight as she flashed me a grin. She didn't have the same toned build as Alessa, but her soft, hourglass figure was nothing short of stunning. There was something about her relaxed, carefree attitude that made her even more attractive.

Bella was the first to flop onto one of the sunbeds, stretching out and letting out a content sigh. "This is the life, huh?"

Vanessa smiled as she settled into the sunbed next to her, pulling her sunglasses down over her eyes. "It's not bad."

Alessa, ever the planner, was already looking over at one of the staff members. "We'll need some more drinks over here. And maybe bring out the fruit platter in about thirty minutes."

The staff member nodded, hurrying off to make sure everything was just as she wanted. I leaned back in my own sunbed, feeling a little out of place but trying to act like I was used to this kind of thing. It wasn't easy. Being around the Reed sisters was like stepping into a different world, and days like today reminded me just how vast that world was.

Bella, sensing my unease, looked over and grinned. "You look like you're still getting used to all this."

I laughed, shrugging. "Yeah, I guess you could say that. I've never exactly been on a private yacht before."

She giggled, pulling her sunglasses down slightly so I could see her eyes. "Well, don't worry. You'll get used to it soon enough. Just relax. We're here to have fun."

Vanessa, always more composed, smiled at me from behind her shades. "She's right. You don't need to worry about anything. Just enjoy the day."

I nodded, letting myself sink a little deeper into the cushions of the sunbed. The sound of the waves gently lapping against the side of the yacht and the warm sun on my skin was starting to do its work, slowly peeling away my tension.

As the staff brought out drinks and the fruit platter, I found myself getting more comfortable with the whole scene. We sipped on cocktails, laughed, and talked about nothing in particular. The sisters shared more childhood stories—though, thankfully, they kept it light this time. No more talk of private islands or yachts full of royalty. It was just... easy.

After a while, Alessa stood up, stretching out her toned body and glancing toward the water. "I'm going for a swim. Anyone joining?"

Bella grinned, jumping up immediately. "Hell yeah! I'm in."

Vanessa chuckled softly but stayed where she was, lounging in the sun. "You two go ahead. I'm staying right here for now."

Alessa and Bella didn't need any more encouragement. They raced to the edge of the yacht, laughing like kids, before diving into the crystal-clear water below. I watched them for a second, feeling the warmth of the sun, the cool breeze, and the easy rhythm of the day.

Vanessa, sensing my gaze, turned her head toward me and smiled. "You okay?"

I smiled back, nodding. "Yeah. I'm good."

She reached over and took my hand, her fingers warm against mine. "Good. Because this is just the beginning."

***

It was mid-afternoon when the yacht anchored near a secluded cove, the water shimmering under the hot sun. I was stretched out on one of the sunbeds, watching as Bella and Alessa splashed around in the water. Vanessa had been lounging with me, sipping on a cocktail and giving me that signature relaxed smile. Just when I thought things couldn't get more laid-back, Bella appeared at the edge of the yacht's deck with a grin that could only mean one thing—she had something up her sleeve.

"Guys!" Bella called out, still dripping wet from her swim. "I brought a little surprise."

I raised an eyebrow, glancing at Vanessa. She just shook her head, smiling knowingly, clearly used to Bella's antics.

Before I could ask what the surprise was, I heard the distant hum of an engine coming from the water. Bella's grin grew wider as a water motorcycle sped toward the yacht, cutting through the waves with ease. As the motorcycle got closer, I saw that someone else was riding it—someone Bella clearly knew well.

The rider pulled up next to the yacht, killing the engine with practiced ease before hopping off and tying the bike to the deck's side ladder. She climbed aboard with a casual confidence, shaking the water from her hair like she did this kind of thing every day.

Bella immediately ran over to greet her, throwing an arm around her shoulders. "Guys, this is Leila! I hope you don't mind, but I invited her along for some fun."

Leila smiled, her warm brown eyes crinkling at the corners. She was tall, with a lean, athletic build, probably in her late 20s like Bella. Her dark brown hair was tied back in a loose bun, wet strands escaping here and there from the ride over. She wore a sporty black bikini top, which accentuated her toned stomach and modest breasts, along with board shorts that clung to her legs, still wet from the ride. Her tanned skin glistened in the sunlight, making it clear she spent a lot of time outdoors, probably surfing or doing some other kind of extreme sport.

Vanessa glanced over at me with a small smile, then looked back at Bella. "You always have a surprise, don't you?"

Bella shrugged, laughing. "You know me. Gotta keep things interesting. Plus, I figured we could use some more company."

I nodded at Leila, feeling a little awkward but trying to be friendly. "Nice to meet you, Leila. I didn't know Bella had a guest coming."

Leila grinned, her eyes flicking between me and Bella. "Yeah, it was kind of last minute. Bella called me this morning and said something about a yacht and I couldn't say no."

Bella smirked, clearly proud of herself. "See? I knew you'd be up for it. Figured you could show off your water motorcycle skills."

Leila laughed, crossing her arms over her chest as she leaned casually against the railing. "That wasn't exactly a skill showcase, but thanks for the vote of confidence."

Vanessa, ever the hostess, waved one of the staff members over. "Leila, can I get you something to drink? Or maybe some food?"

Leila smiled gratefully, shaking her head. "Just some water would be great, thanks. I'm still recovering from the ride over."

The staff member nodded and quickly disappeared to fetch her drink. Bella, still clinging to Leila, looked back at the rest of us. "Leila's a pro on the water. She's been riding these things since she was, what, ten?"

Leila chuckled, her brown eyes shining with amusement. "Yeah, something like that. My dad used to take me out all the time."

Alessa, who had been lounging next to me, finally spoke up. "Well, now that you're here, what's the plan? More water sports?"

Bella's eyes lit up. "Hell yes! I brought two water motorcycles. We can take turns. It'll be fun."

I raised an eyebrow, a little skeptical. I'd never ridden one before, but it looked like everyone else was game. Vanessa, always the observer, smirked and shook her head. "I think I'll pass. You guys go ahead."

I looked at her, grateful for the out. "Yeah, I'm with Vanessa on this one. I'll watch."

Bella rolled her eyes but laughed. "Suit yourselves. Come on, Alessa. Leila and I will show you how it's done."

Alessa grinned, standing up and stretching. "You think I need a lesson? I've got this."

The three of them—Bella, Leila, and Alessa—headed back toward the water, leaving me and Vanessa behind on the sunbeds. Vanessa took another sip of her drink, her eyes twinkling as she watched them go.

"She always has to bring someone, doesn't she?" Vanessa said, her voice amused but fond.

I shrugged, smiling. "Seems like it. But Leila seems cool."

"She is," Vanessa agreed. "Bella met her through some adventure sports group. They've been friends for a while now."

I nodded, watching as the girls clambered back onto the water motorcycles, laughing and talking as they revved the engines. The sound of the motors roared to life, echoing across the open water.

Leila took off first, cutting through the waves with ease, Bella right behind her. Alessa followed, a little more cautious at first, but quickly getting the hang of it. They circled the yacht a few times, speeding across the water and kicking up sprays of seafoam as they went. Bella's laughter echoed across the water, and even from a distance, I could see the joy on her face.

Vanessa and I stayed behind, relaxing in the sun and watching the show. "You know," I said after a moment, "your sisters are something else."

Vanessa laughed softly, nodding. "They are. But I wouldn't trade them for anything."

We sat there in comfortable silence, the sound of the waves and the distant laughter of the girls filling the air. It was one of those moments where everything felt right—no drama, no stress, just the sun, the water, and the people we cared about.

As the girls continued to race around on the water motorcycles, I couldn't help but smile. This world—Vanessa's world—was still new to me, but I was starting to feel like maybe I could belong here after all.

Q: Have you ever been on a yacht before?
