Confessions in the Night
Elena's POV
The night air was crisp and cool as Alexander guided me towards the sleek black car parked just outside the mansion's grand entrance. He hadn't said much after presenting me with the flowers, but his eyes, smoldering with intensity, spoke volumes. With each glance, I felt the tension between us build—a heady, electrifying tension that made my skin tingle and my pulse race.
My thoughts were a chaotic swirl of emotions. I had come into tonight expecting a simple dinner and maybe a deepening of our bond, but now, as we slid into the car, I could sense that something far more significant was about to unfold. Alexander's hand rested possessively on my knee as we drove, the warmth of his touch seeping through the thin fabric of my dress and sending shivers down my spine.
