Looking at the snake, he could see that its belly was bulging as if it had just eaten some demon beast and was taking a rest.

The green snake roared again, swinging its tail to send several huge green blade slashes toward those boulder.

Lu Shen took a deep breath and he carefully approached those injured snakes, he making sure not to draw any attention to himself. As he moved, he could feel the intense spiritual energy shock waves from the two beasts battle.
The green snake had caused many wounds on the brown snake. Seeing its going to win, it unleashed a powerful wind blade aimed directly at the brown snake's head. The brown snake, however, anticipated the attack and it countered with a massive rock shield.

The clash of two skills sent shock waves through the valley.
Lu Shen hid behind a large boulder, just a few meters away from the two demon beasts. He began to channel his spiritual energy, he prepare to take change to finish them in one blow.
The battle between the two demon beasts continue on, but their movements grew sluggish as their injuries took a toll. The brown snake, its body full with wounds, it struggled to maintain its defenses, while the green snake, bleeding from multiple places, it could barely stay in the sky.
Lu Shen observed the scene carefully, Both snakes were now on their last breaths, their energy nearly depleted.
He knew this was his chance.
He activated his Wood Spear skill. Four wood spears appeared around his hand. With a quick movement, he launched the spears at the heads of both snakes.

The spears pierced through their scales and skulls, instantly killing the weakened beasts. Their bodies trembled briefly before falling still.
If they had been in their peak condition, both the brown and green snakes might not have been easily killed. But now, in their last breaths, Lu Shen easily killed them.

He knelt beside the bowl, he careful not not spill the earth essence liquid. As he examined the crystal and the liquid, he understood why the two peak rank two demon beasts had fought so fiercely.
